Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Thunder Bay District

Jesse is the perfect host...very friendly, always smiling and responded to any texts I sent immediately. His home was very easy to find and we were blown away at the amount of cool artwork he had on display and antiques. Not to mention all the movies and games he had for us to watch. We had a little 2 year old girl with us and she loved the room she had to run around. I was worried she was bothering Jesse but he said she wasn't a problem at all! The floors do creak but it adds to the character of the home. I loved Jesse's home and would stay there again! ☆☆☆☆☆

Absolutely gorgeous location and super clean home! Well stocked with basics and comfortable inside and out. Many chairs to choose from outside. Bug spray and umbrellas available. We loved sitting on the deck by the lake when the weather was nice. Incredibly peaceful! We heard loons, geese and that's about it. No traffic/train sounds - very quiet! Loved it! Beds/pillows/towels were comfy, as was the sofa. Monica left us a package of pancake mix and everything we needed to make it. So thoughtful and delicious! Couple things to mention - bring slippers the floors are cold and there are no rugs. Also, there is no tv, but there are some dvds in a cabinet for when there is inclimate weather. We were able to get online more than half the time. (T-Mobile). The bathtub is a tall soaker, but a bit harder to get into and very slippery on the bottom. There is nowhere to eat/buy groceries nearby. The closest ones we found were in Thunder Bay 45 min up the road. A very nice place!

Katie is one of the best host we have had. She’s very easy to interact with and we were very happy to meet her in person. She is very helpful and accommodating. The place is very cozy, clean and the kitchen is well stocked . The bottle of wine on the table was a bonus. I would highly recommend this place and we’ll be sure to return.

Our stay/visit to the city was made perfect by the accommodations. It was nice to be able to come back to a quiet, cozy peaceful place to have some down time from our hectic schedule. We all felt very comfortable and relaxed when we returned to the apartment. The location was perfect, very central to everything within the city. We will definitely stay here again when we return.

I cannot say enough good things about Paul. It’s an RV, Simple as that…but Paul was so thoughtful and made sure we were happy every step of the way. He went above and beyond with little things like setting up a fire for us after a long day of hiking, bringing us extra water, warming up the sauna and inviting us to hand feed the chickadees and nut-hatches! Top notch host!!!

Best Airbnb I have ever stayed at! Comfortable beds(like sleeping on a cloud) amenities and extras, soda and water in fridge, even butter and milk and cereal, the tea collection, the back yard oasis, both day and night,pool, personal welcome, kitchen well stocked, bathroom extras from lotion to vanity sets. We felt very welcomed and accepted. We will stay here next time we come from the states!

Such a wonderful stay here what literally felt like heaven. The cabin is situated so that it feels like you are on top of the forest. We came with another family and our young children ages 4-7. There is so much for the kids to explore. The pool area is an excursion on its own. Great sleeps at night. Highly recommend if you are looking for a semi-rustic with a sauna/pool experience.

We stayed in the eagles nest cabin and it was great. Nice and clean and an amazing view. Was a quick stay passing through but would be an awesome place to stay for days or a week. Great hiking spots near by. I’d stay again.

Rachel’s place was very clean. It is in a great neighbourhood and we felt very safe. We had so much room it was great. We stayed with a 20 month old and he loved all the space! Would definitely stay again. 5 stars for sure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Highly recommend! This was our second time staying at Annie’s place, and it was just as wonderful as the first. If I could give more than 5 stars for every 10 places I visit, Annie’s would definitely be one of them. We loved the homey atmosphere and all the thoughtful details she includes to make guests feel comfortable. You can truly feel how much she cares about her guests—it made our stay extra special. This is a lovely spot to stay on the peninsula. It’s close to both lakes so you can canoe anywhere. The August long weekend was a little busy on the lake but then it got quiet on Monday. Michael is very friendly and was a great host. All cooking and bbq supplies were available. It was a week to remember for us. Thank you Michael and Julie.

Brads place was perfect for our work trip in Thunder Bay! It was extremely clean which was appreciated and really well decorated. Brad was very responsive which was also appreciated. He accommodated us by allowing us to extend our stay not once but twice. Thanks Brad!

Mariah is a great host. Very responsive. She was always available to answer any questions i had before checking in and until after i checked out. since this was my first time staying at another Airbnb i did have lots of questions and she was patient and helpful in answering those questions. I was able to check-in early and checkout late. luckily as there was no other guest staying in the day of check-in and no one booked on the day of checkout. the place was clean and i felt like i walked into my home. i didn't cook or anything so i didn't use any of the utensils although everything that one needs is available. I will be looking to stay at her place when i return to thunder bay. thank you Maria. you were a great host. appreciate your recommendations with the laundromat as the place was just what i needed. clean and maintained properly. 5*+ rating for you as a host and also the same for your place.

Beautiful place, very peaceful. Enjoyed a few lovely days, cooked, hiked, and took in the natural beauty. Kitchen was well stocked with basic essentials - cooking oil, some spices, aluminum foil etc, well stocked cooking utensils. Great place to unwind by the lake, cook a great meal and enjoy a gorgeous sunset. Great and responsive hosts, with clear instructions. Would definitely stay here again!
