Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Thorpeness

This was our second time staying at Laura’s place. It’s a great spot, close to beach and town and perfect for our young family (children aged 5 and 3). Hopefully we’ll be back again!

Excellent , clean accommodation within easy walking distance of Norwich’s best pubs, bars and restaurants.

We’ve visited Southwold many times normally in our motorhome. On this occasion we were with friends so decided to use an air B&B. We definitely made the right choice selecting “Port Side”.. with it having 2 double bedrooms both with en-suites. The accomodation was just as described….. spacious,comfortable and tasteful decor within a period property and with the added benefit of free parking. Would definitely use again…

This place is amazing. The apartment is cosy, the space is big and the bathroom and kitchen is beautiful. Perfect space and quiet. It’s private as well. It’s right opposite the sea. Right next to food places. About a 20 minutes drive to Great Yarmouth and 10 minutes to Africa Alive so was a perfect spot. There was lots of street parking directly outside the place. We absolutely loved our stay and Jane responded to our queries super quick. Would definitely be back and recommend to others.

This accommodation is clean, comfortable and very well equipped. There are lots of lovely local walks and a couple of convenience stores and pubs within walking distance. There are lots location is peaceful with a nice outdoor courtyard garden. Occasionally footsteps can be heard from above the bedroom due to the accommodation being underneath part of the owner’s home.

First time visiting Colchester and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! Home from home and the location was absolutely perfect, literally right next to the castle park and less than a 5 minute walk to the castle and high street. Peaceful and super clean. Reilly was the perfect host. Friendly, responsive and helpful. Kitchen had everything we needed to dine in. Bed was comfy and linen was clean. The bathroom was also spotless! Thank you for having us and we will definitely be returning. 5 star 🌟 stay x

We stayed at 6 Blyth View for one week as a family and we throughly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely getaway in a peaceful location. The cottage is part of a lovely estate in a very peaceful and thoughtfully designed setting with amazing grounds overlooking fields to the East so you can stunning sunset views. It’s a short drive from wonderful Southwold and several neighbouring villages with great pubs offering decent food options as well as lovely drives to explore the surrounding areas. The cottage is perfectly equipped with all facilities working perfectly, a very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms offering plenty of storage space plus a perfect living room space and indoor and outdoor dining. Parking is situated close to the property. In addition, the (bookable timeslots) gym, swimming pool and games room were much fun and we very much enjoyed. Highly recommend this property and thank you to the attentive host for great support and communication when needed 🙏🏼

We stayed for a long weekend and had a lovely stay. the house was a beautiful country cottage and very comfortable. We also had the perfect weather for it. It was wonderful to watch the rabbits and deer as they travelled through and round the garden morning and evening.

Really wonderful place, so tranquil, yet not far from a couple of towns. No sound but lovely birdsong. Alyson and Ian were very welcoming and friendly. We look forward to staying again soon. Thank you.

a lovely location and property. Great it has a car charging point. Worked really well for our disabled friend. really well equipped, even included doves for cooking! brilliant utility / drying room. At checkin Caroline, the owner, was worried about car noise from the road, we weren't. it was not an issue for us and she says the road is soon to be closed from one end anyway. Lovely log burner, house got too warm!! All in all a lovely experience, would go again

This place is amazing, even better than the photos. The open plan space downstairs was great for family meals and the bedrooms were lovely with really comfortable beds. Everything was spotless and it had everything we needed. The annex was perfect too. Communication with Vicky was always easy and clear instructions on checking in.

Jacqui was very responsive from the outset, even before we actually booked. The old stables was a nice place to stay and everything was very dog friendly. Very relaxing place and everyone who we met were really nice, including the dogs. Lovely place to stay if you want to chill and alow your dog to have a bit of freedom. We were lucky we had nice weather too. Jacqui also left a few treats for us and our dog, which was a nice touch too. Thank you Jacqui!

This is a lovely quaint old cottage in peaceful surroundings. Very dog-friendly garden, the cottage was very clean, and surrounded by countryside walks.

A stunning apartment, very comfortable, has everything you could possibly need and more. It perfectly placed to explore the town. I would highly recommend it. Mark is an excellent host. A very smooth experience altogether. Thank you Mark. 😊

What a fantastic stay! Kim was very communicative in the booking and check in process. The flat was spotless on arrival and she had left lots of treats for the stay with coffee/tea/condiments/spices. It felt just like a home away from home. The location was fantastic for walking everywhere as it's so close to the train station. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!

A super apartment within easy walking distance of the train station, restaurants and all of the attraction Norwich has to offer. The apartment is really cosy with a very comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Access is really secure and easy. Although I had no need for a parking space, this is a great service that the apartment offers. Highly recommended!

The Annex is located in a very peaceful neighbourhood at the edge of the village. The surroundings are really pleasant and make you relax straight away. The highlight of course is a magnificent redwood tree round the back of the annex. The rooms are exactly what you need for a short (or longer) break in Suffolk: very clean, spacious and quiet. Esther has handy several brochures and books to get started with your adventures in the surrounding areas. Strongly recommended!

Had a great few days’ stay in Annetta’s house – loved the character of the place and surrounding gardens. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Annetta is extremely friendly and helpful and her contact beforehand was very good. Nice touches include the hot tub and breakfast bits in the fridge. This is an ideal location to relax and explore the coast and inland. I would definitely recommend and intend to return to explore more of the area. Many thanks!

Gemma was a very communicative and responsive host. She gave clear instructions for the check in and was helpful when we had queries. The apartment was clean and pristine and was supplied with amenities and kitchen tools. I would recommend this place!

It was all so easy. One definite advantage was having a Sainsbury's within easy walking distance. When you fend for yourself, getting those food items etc are important. We were on a six week trip in Europe and had stayed at some ordinary hotels (lacking space) so to walk into Rob and Laura's unit was unbelievably satisfying. Thank you both for your advice and assistance.
