Full size washer/dryer. Off street (driveway) parking. No smoking. Convenient location in safe, friendly Arlington. Easy transit options to DC. Walk to several bus stops, 1-2 miles to 3 Metro stops, 10 minute drive to downtown. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate service animals due to household allergies.

Georgetown Modern Chic 1 Bedroom

Reopening to Covid conscious guests who understand the cooperation between guest and host for a clean and safe place while visiting Washington, DC. Many historic restaurants have outdoor dining as well as carry out. More locations will be opening soon and this is still a great walking city. Please inquire for extended stay. Transportation is easy and close by. Access to Georgetown University, George Washington University as well as their respective hospitals are very short distances.

Covid-19 safe and separate entrance suite, with no shared utilities (radiator in winter and wall unit AC in summer). The space is bright and has windows facing East and South. The apartment has direct access to a private patio, where you can relax with a cup of coffee in the morning sun. The general atmosphere is cozy yet it has a contemporary feel thanks to its bamboo floors in the bedroom and modern tiles in the bathroom and kitchen. No smoking is allowed in the unit.

The room we reserved was clean, comfortable, private, and spacious. Deena replied to questions promptly and provided local information. The home is in a lovely neighborhood. We were on bike and Deena provided safe storage. Close access to C &O Trail.

We really enjoyed ourselves. Christina’s place was cozy, she is very kind, helpful and very responsive. Other reviews mentioned hearing people walking around, while yes that does happen we never found it to be obsessive or bothersome. We all slept great here. Yes, the bathroom is tiny but if we can do it with 3 teen daughters, so can you. We would stay here again for sure.

The Sonnergrens were great hosts! They communicated very well from start to finish and were a delight to meet in our brief encounters between our respective comings and goings. Their place was comfortable, quiet, and just as described. Their neighborhood is a quiet little pocket but quite convenient to major freeways and a short bus ride or drive to Washington Metro connections. I will stay again happily when in the DC area!
