For a nature lover like me, Joy’s place was just perfect! The house is surrounded by trees, making it peaceful and refreshing. It was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You get access to most of the villa, except for two locked rooms, but the space is more than sufficient and never felt restrictive. Uncle and Aunty live in the back portion, which was actually reassuring because they were always nearby if we needed anything. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary utensils and appliances. What truly made this stay special was their warmth and hospitality. Aunty’s food was amazing - she even made North Indian dishes just for us, which made us feel at home. And Uncle was incredibly kind. When I had a minor fall and needed a doctor, he immediately arranged for a checkup and made sure I was okay. Their kindness and generosity made this place more than just accommodation - it truly felt like home. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed my stay at the corner room—it was peaceful, scenic, and great value for money. The room was clean, comfortable, and just a few steps from the beautiful backwaters, which made for such a calming atmosphere. Manu was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my stay, always just a message away if I needed anything. The location is very quiet and perfect if you're looking to unwind. If you're visiting in April, be prepared for some heat— can get quite warm around this time —but the AC and fan in the room kept things comfortable. Overall, a lovely experience. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a serene, local experience with a great host.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming, traditional Kerala house! Our group of friends found the home beautifully maintained, with three spacious AC bedrooms and large, clean bathrooms that made our stay very comfortable. The fully functional kitchen was a big plus. Although the house is located right on the highway, the large compound provided complete privacy and a peaceful environment. One of our favorite spots was the cozy patio in the backyard, shaded by a huge jackfruit tree — perfect for relaxing in the evenings. For the price, this place is honestly the best deal you could find. A special thanks to our host, Romy, who made sure our experience was absolutely perfect and hassle-free. Less than one hour drive from cochin. A lap pool would be a perfect addition.

Anwar and his listing, both were great. It was easy to check-in and all my requests were promptly catered to. Anwar was connected throughout with me for all my requirements and he was proactive in passing on information to me wherever needed. We would definitely recommend the place. Location wise, it's right next to the beach and it's very picturesque. It rained a couple of times otherwise we would have definitely gone to the beach a couple of more times. 5 minutes from the listing, there are atleast 5 good eating spots along with other shopping necessaries. Rooms are a little smaller than my liking but it's what makes the place unique. It was small but definitely enough for our family of 4. Again, thanking Anwar for all his help and letting us use his listing for our stay.
