Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Thairé

Everything was perfect. The place is as charming as it is welcoming: a tastefully renovated cellar, and above all perfectly equipped. There's absolutely nothing you need. We immediately felt good there, almost at home. Bike rental is a real plus to enjoy the island, and the recommendations (walks, restaurants...) are really valuable. If we come back to the island of Oléron, this is where we will stay again, without hesitation.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The village of Sainte Marie is very pretty and with a bike it is possible to take beautiful walks. The house was well furnished and clean. Sylvie responds kindly and quickly to our questions. We are delighted with our stay at his house.

Great stay with family and really very nice, warm and responsive hosts, the accommodation was really nice and quiet. The pool table was a big hit with the kids and grown-ups alike. We recommend it 1000%.

We had a birthday at the Romegoux party hall, the rental is ideally located, quiet, cool (despite the very high temperatures) and with a very nice exterior! We had a lovely family weekend!

Celine’s house is so beautiful and the perfect location for a quiet getaway. Celine is an amazing host and the way she has designed this home is perfect and thoughtfully laid out. We had 3 adults staying and it was plenty of room and the pool was so lovely to get to enjoy. We hope to get to come back again sometime soon!

impeccable for 3 days and 2 nights with arrival at the port by boat. Exactly what we were looking for. Small, nice terrace for aperitif, spacious and pleasant old accommodation. Well-equipped for 6. We'll be happy to go back.

Great apartment and very convenient walking distance to all amenities. Christele is very sweet. The parking is a bit expensive (approx 20eur/day) but the location is convenient. There is no air conditioning so as the weather heats up in the summer it might be uncomfortable to sleep. It was on the edge last week. Opening the windows is loud and welcome mosquitos. Everything else is good.

Thierry is a very welcoming and very professional host. The accommodation is impeccable and true to the photos. I recommend it. We'll be happy to go back if the opportunity arises.

The apartment is in a great location, minutes walk to the port with restaurants and shops on our doorstep and close to markets etc. Patricia who met us was very helpful and friendly. Our stay was lovely.

Kasia and Anthony's house was perfect for our weekend with friends. The grounds are huge, well maintained. The pool and terrace are very nice. And the rooms are very comfortable with excellent bedding. The house in its looks is really tastefully decorated and we would have stayed a little longer! We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house - which is so quiet and private on the beautiful beach but close to lots of great areas on île de re! It is a great location to explore from and to rest at after a busy day!

Ile de Ré is definitely an expensive destination, but well worth it! I recommend visiting outside of August if possible, as it can be quite busy and prices tend to be higher. We were very lucky with the weather during our stay — it was unusually hot and humid. Keep in mind that the house does not have air conditioning or fans. I mentioned this to Didier, the fabulous host, and he has since purchased fans for the house, which is much appreciated! The location is perfect for families and friends, allowing everyone to enjoy their preferred activities: biking, relaxing at the beach, or shopping in the charming local stores of La Couarde.

Very nice house, pleasant, comfortable, well decorated and well equipped. The outside is as beautiful as the inside. Very friendly welcome from Estelle, which doesn't spoil anything. Remote village but not far from the beaches and La Rochelle. I recommend it.

A beautiful beachfront location. A very beautiful family house, tastefully decorated, welcoming and in a peaceful place. We did a lot of walking, in the center of Fouras, within walking distance. You can go to the island of Aix by taking the boat on foot. The weather was nice. Good memories.
