Karon is the best host i’ve ever had! She was so thoughtful and really helped us celebrate our honeymoon well! The place is beautiful & so peaceful!! The cabin was great. We enjoyed smores, board games in the cabin, the hot tub, and local restaurants!!

We stayed for a NYE getaway and needed more time after the given check-out time. I messaged and received a resounding yes in a few minutes. Best NYE to relax and enjoy Lake Texoma and the surrounding beauty. This is a MUST stay for anyone visiting in the Mead, OK area!

This place was so beautiful! It was peaceful and just what we needed.

The cabin was comfortable. It is a beautiful setting. My grandchildren had fun exploring the grounds and using the games. They went fishing and have not stopped talking about it even though they didn't catch anything. We will stay there again I am sure.

I cannot say enough, kind things about our hosts or the place they have created. It feels like a luxury would see vacation. The couple have worked so hard to make it beautiful and welcoming and have just nailed it! I hate to give it such a positive review because I don’t want her fabulous prices to change or the cabin to be full. Every time I think of booking it again!I would highly recommend this thoughtful space to get away.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and really cozy, I love the amazing views all around and how much nature was all around the place, if I ever go near that area again I’ll definitely revisit this place :)

We found this place late and super last minute . Chris confirmed our booking within 30 minutes and was warm and welcoming for us to stay the three nights we booked. The Shire was located in a private, beautiful wooden area and the house felt like home. It was absolutely perfect for our 11th anniversary. We were given very clear instructions and he left us to our relaxing. We will absolutely be back to this location.

Horseshoe Bend Retreat was peaceful and quiet. The cabin was cool for a hot summer day! It was roomy enough for the 3 of us--1 mom and 2 teen kids! My daughter and I shared the bed, my son loved the loft bed! It had a pond, but we didn't use it. We brought our kayaks and joined a group paddling the Red River. D was very friendly, accessible, and helpful! We would definitely stay again, given a chance!

The house was very comfortable, the little country store was awesome and feeding the animals was an added bonus. An amazing peaceful get away. It was worth every penny and we will definitely be back.

My wife and I had a wonderfully stress free stay at The Little Ass Apartment! Michael was a great host, was very responsive and helpful when we contacted him. The place is amazing inside and out. The three miniature donkeys led by Eve Girl and Kobe the horse were a fun part of the experience. The Banrdo had everything we needed and was well appointed. We spent our days running through the small towns from Collinsville to Tishomingo, OK visiting antique stores. Once back at the property we played corn hole (which I won) and cards ( which I did not win!) before spending the rest of our evening staring at the stars while we sat on the swings outside. What a great place to just get away from the big city! One of our favorite weekend getaways. Thank you Michael and family for your hospitality and allowing us to share your beautiful place! We came here for a night get away and it was so peaceful and wonderful! Quiet surroundings just far enough out of town. 🫶🏼 The tortoise was neat, the horses greet you in the morning, and the kitties will show you around as soon as you arrive! 🥰 Loved everything about this place and will definitely be back!

Beautiful historical home . Every room had a different outlay . We had a short stay but definitely enjoyed it. Every room has its own piece of history especially the front office. Loved it .

Larry & Tabatha are great! This isn't our first stay and won't be our last. We always seem to make it during severe weather and they make sure we are doing good and feeling safe. Big plus--hanging out with the neighbor! Such a great community and hidden gem of a lake cottage! We truly appreciate the hosts and their love of animals and the lake!!!

Very beautiful location and gorgeous place to stay! Loved the trails and outdoor shower! We did lose power for a couple hours on the last night there, but they were very responsive and we were able to make the best of it playing games around flashlights! We hope to come back one day!

Dustin and Allese are great hosts. Extremely responsive. We reached out upon arrival and Allese responded within minutes. The rental is less than a mile from Winstar and gets you away from the hassle at the casino. Much more room than a hotel room and gives you the benefit of cooking or bringing your own food should you choose. Huge refrigerator in the rental. Winstar tends to over price rooms for concerts. This, by far, was a much better option. We saw a "for sale" sign on the property and truly hope they aren't selling as we will certainly be back. Highly recommend.
