Vacation rentals with lake access in Taupo District

It was a great clean place and I would stay there but Airbnb stop inundating my email for a survey. I don't so surveys, the only time I do them is if the place was bad. But the constant emails for surveys is really annoying.

really good value, typical kiwi bach from the 1970s. had everything you needed including a very well kitted out kitchen with a full size fridge freezer. the pictures accurately described the place. we loved the Woodburner. our dogs loved playing outside. great for big family trips as loads of space. thanks Jacqui 😀

A spacious and cozy location a short drive from the lake and Taupo center. It was super roomy for our family. While I walked up Mt Tauhara, my family slept and watched TV. Highly recommend this location and host!

We had a great stay! The house was very clean and comfortable. It was the perfect base while visiting friends in the area. The neighbourhood was quiet but still had plenty for the kids to do. Check in was super easy and we arrived to a nice warm home with the lights on for us! We loved our stay at Karen’s!

Lovely little place super close to the main strip, eaily walking distance to most activities within the area, super friendly host for our brief conversation to ensure i had the rundown on anything i may have missed 10/10

We absolutely would stay again in a heartbeat. Never stayed in Kinloch before…..but what an awesome surprise as the setting was magical. Soaking in the hot tub overlooking all the differing vistas, reminded us of Queenstown. Hosts are amazing, and their beautiful home has all the comforts of feeling at home. So if anyone thinks being 15mins out of Taupo is a negative…..trust me, you will not regret staying here! Relax, enjoy the views and there’s lots of walks or bike rides to explore, and then come back for a magical soak in the hot tub.

My asian parents are skeptics of Airbnbs, and this stay was a nice reminder that we can find a safe, cozy home away from home. The heater wasn’t the warmest at first, and Llyod got help down to solve it ASAP. It was wonderful, comfortable and the best sleep we had on our short trip. We all loved the heated beds. Parking right outside was convenient. Could have had a bigger/one more bin in the toilet.

Great place to stay very accessible for the walking and riding around the lakefront. Also walkable to the shops.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home ….. our hosts Marki and Chris were just wonderful and everything about the space and the surroundings was top notch. The furnishings, decor, attention to detail, lovely treats and overall vibe of the home was very special …. Walking distance to the most beautiful little bay, surrounded by nature was awesome. Would thoroughly recommend!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and the house was very comfortable with all we needed. Very tastefully decorated with lots of lovely thoughtful touches...thank you Lu. Lovely view of the lake and yhe Acacia Bay location was serene. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Awesome cosy place with awesome views! You can see the lake, a mountain, the Taupo town lights at night. Would highly recommend for any couple looking to spend some time away in NZ.

What a beautiful apartment. The views from the lounge and the master bedroom were amazing. Looking straight across Lake Taupo. The kitchen facilities were fantastic with lots of utensils. . Bathrooms were a good size Parking was easy and undercover. Thoroughly recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Such a great host. Fantastic communication and very helpful. Lovely spot and is a great kiwi Bach. Loved the fishing and biscuiting on the lake. The place was fantastic for little ones with the fencing. The beds were so comfortable and the shower had great pressure.

The place is it is as described. My children love the toys inside and the backyard. Great walk to a lake nearby.

We had a wonderful stay at Zara’s place! It was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. My son absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend for a relaxing and comfortable getaway!

Beautiful spot so close to the lake. The Bach has everything you need and we felt right at home. I have recommended to all my friends and family that will be visiting soon!! Loved it, thank you ☺️

The view was beautiful and ever changing. We must have taken 30 photos from the one spot of the differing conditions. We were happy living in. Bach 63 had everything we needed, lots of linen, coffee etc. We were still finding things on the last day, a therapeutic hot pack. . We loved our stay in Bach 63. . Thank you Lisa, well done.

Rebecca's place is a lovely 2 bedroom house with a sunny deck. Just a minute or two walk down the street you arrive lakeside to stunning views. We enjoyed the use of the free kayaks and spending a full day in Motuoapa bay. We checked out Rebecca's food recommendations and had yum fish and chips from Challenge and a delicious lunch at The Liquorice Cafe. The winter nights were cosy with the heatpump on. We thought Rebecca's place was excellent value for money and were delighted to have our wee fox terrier share in the adventure. Definitely recommend this escape from bigger towns to a peaceful, pretty house in this wee bay.
