"Wine Down" in Scenic Grey Highlands

Join us at “Wine Down”, our beautiful property located on the highlands of the Beaver River Valley, just minutes away from all that Georgian Bay and the Blue Mountains have to offer. It is a very private 1 acre property with an incredible view of water, escarpment and wildlife. Enjoy more than 1,000 sq. ft. of living space including beds for 5, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with large screen TV and full bathroom. Your hosts live on sight in the main level of the house.

One bedroom apartment on the river, with hot tub

WINTER SPECIAL Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located place. 30 to 40 minutes to Port Elgin and Southampton, and 75 minute drive to Tobermory. The hot tub is always waiting. Full kitchen and bathroom available for your own use. New queen size bed replacing the queen sized pull out couch. In the warmer weather there is two kayaks and a canoe available for guests use plus four adult life jackets. Also close to Harrison park and the mill dam and you can go by river.

Located on a paved County Road and only 15 minutes from Southampton and Port Elgin. 20 minutes to Sauble Beach and an easy drive to the beautiful Bruce Peninsula. Surrounded by farm fields with no neighbours in sight. During the warmer months there are chickens on property providing you with fresh eggs.

If you enjoy 'roughing it', stay in our beautiful log home from the late 1800's. It has been completely redone, maintaining all of the old character. It is nestled in the edge of the bush, that provides kilometres of hiking trails. The cabin is also situated on a pond so you can spend your days swimming, canoeing, fishing and exploring this nature lover's paradise. Spend your time here unplugging from your everyday life and reconnecting to the healing properties of a natural environment.

A Naturalist's Paradise - Shepard Lake waterfront

Located on a tranquil, private, inland lake-base of the Bruce Peninsula: Spacious suite (lower level of bungalow-one unit, no shared spaces), perfect getaway for outdoor enthusiasts. Private location with secluded sitting areas, firepit, yard & dock. Boats are exclusive for guest use. Enjoy fishing/bird watching. Fabulous hiking trails & beautiful beaches for swimming just minutes away. Close to golf courses. Relax on the dock, read, BBQ & enjoy campfires.

Suite on the Creek

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located walkout apartment. The suite backs onto the Niagara escarpment and sections of the Bruce Trail. Though you’ll feel secluded in nature, head out front and you can walk downtown in less than 15 minutes. Rest well in the king-sized bed that looks out onto the walking bridge in the back yard. Enjoy cozy evenings in with a movie and a fire, or relax with a book in your private backyard sitting area.

Bunkie in the Country

Now CLOSED until spring The bunkie has a great view of the sunrise. It's a quiet rural area (please note it is a GRAVEL road). Good for couples, solo adventurers, hunters, someone looking to be outside of town. The bunkie is located approx. 30 feet behind our home. For allergenic reasons and safety of animals, we do not allow pets. May not be suitable for those with mobility issues (small hill & stairs). The bunkie has heat and A/C!

Peaceful cabin-in-the-woods 50 acre private forest

Relax in a charming cordwood cabin on an off-grid property powered entirely by solar energy. Enjoy exclusive use of 50 acres of varied woodlands with over 4km marked & maintained nature trails (loaner snowshoes provided!) and special features like a SoundForest, a meditative walking labyrinth, plus a sauna made of local cedar... it’s like having your own private park! There’s even an option ($) to have a breakfast basket brought out.

Williamsford Blacksmith Shop

Make some memories at the historic stone blacksmith shop built 1888. Located in Williamsford, Ontario. Conveniently located to the historic sites, waterfalls, the Bruce trail, rail trails for hiking and snowmobiling. Short 20 minute drive to Owen Sound. Sauble Beach 40 minutes. Tobermory drive 1 hr 1/2. Markdale 20 minutes. Enjoy the sites surrounding or a peaceful night by the campfire with campfire wood provided.
