Beachfront vacation rentals in Tangalle

We had a lovely time at Luca's place. The house has everything you need for a great rest. You can observe the few animals that roam freely in the garden. The pool is a big plus in the heat of Sri Lanka. The house is incredibly clean and the people who work there are very nice. Nimesh will help you with any questions you may have, you can contact them anytime. He took us to exchange money, showed us where the best places to dine were and arranged all the excursions for us. He also took care of our trip and picked us up from the airport. Throughout, we were able to enjoy the wonderful dinners prepared by Nirosha including an excellent seafood barbecue. The house is in a very good location: only a short walk to the beach and all the restaurants/shops. Feel free to book your stay in this house, it's a real little paradise.

The place was lovely, right on the river front and absolutely peaceful. Its also very close to the beach and we would definitely recommend the place. Somehow the tuktuk price around the area were pretty outrageous, so if you have a rented or owned vehicle, it’ll make things a lot easier but that’s not on the host, they were absolutely amazing.

We spent a whole month in this house and were delighted! Spacious, cozy, with a lovely chill area by the river where you can relax and enjoy nature. I especially liked the rooftop – the perfect place to do yoga. The kitchen is fully equipped, so it was convenient to cook. The beds in the bedrooms are comfortable, slept great. The beach is only a 5-7 minute walk and the surf spot in Weligama is about 25 minutes away. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we are grateful to the hosts for their hospitality!

We were lucky and were able to check in early. I was sent all the information I needed on a w***e. Upon arrival, we were met by Guyan and Irish. Irish was very kind, we saw him every day when he came to clean the area. Having a pool is an absolute plus in this villa. We bathed in it both morning and evening. The sea is a 3-minute walk. At this time, it is not crowded and almost all the beaches are not crowded. It is better to move around the tangalle by bike to visit various beaches and cafes. We walked from the villa to a lovely restaurant in 10 minutes. In general, we did not regret it at all and remembered this villa for the rest of the trip.

The place is great. bed is comfortable, kitchen well equipped and very well located. a few minutes walk to the main beach and 15 minutes to Secret Beach. Prabodi is incredibly kind and helpful, and very responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

I had an amazing stay at ISI Villa Dikwella! The villa is exceptionally clean and well maintained, with comfortable rooms and beautiful beachfront views. Its location is perfect right on the beach and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and everything you need. The host was outstanding, providing excellent communication and support throughout my stay, making everything smooth and stress free. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, convenient, and well cared for getaway. I’ll definitely be back!

Shamil was responsive and helpful. We were in a bit of situation to find last minute accommodation. Shamil was helpful to enable the check in at 10pm. This was a huge relief for us. A great host!

The house is brilliantly located. 2 mins walk to two great different beaches. One where you can learn to surf and the other where you can swim with turtles and snorkel. Lovely 20 min walk along the beach to Dickwella and tons of beach bars/restaurants. There’s a little shop next door as well that has all the essentials. Inside the house is comfy and clean. Beds are lovely and have mosquito nets and the ACs in both rooms are quiet and work well. Would highly recommend to stay here and will be doing so again if available when we are next back in the area. Hosts are friendly and very responsive. In short, we loved our stay here!

Sahan’s beautiful airbnb is a little gem in Weligama. I would 100% recommend. He greeted us at check in and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The place itself and the pool especially are absolutely gorgeous! The perfect location for a little retreat. Thanks Sahan!

We really enjoyed it here. The communication before and during our stay was just perfect. Every question was answered directly and with very helpful advices. The villa is clean and spacious. The way up is a little bit difficult. But you will be right at a wonderful beach. And around the corner (10 minutes walk) you will find amazing restaurants. The kitchen was a little bit basic but okay. Some salt and herbs would have been nice. But everything else was just the way we hoped it would be. Thank you very much for everything! It was a great experience.

Wonderful stay, highly recommend! We were four adults staying here for 3 days and our time flew by. The property is located on a stunning, pristine beach. Aside from fishermen in the morning and a spattering of tourists, we had the beach to ourselves for most of the day. The property looks just like the photos - nice rooms and a swimming pool which the staff cleaned daily. A highlight of our stay was the home cooked food. We had fantastic Sri Lankan meals thanks to the villa's team. Only major complaint was the lack of outdoor umbrellas - we had to keep moving our lounge chairs to follow the shade from the trees throughout the day. Also we were able to enjoy swimming but note that the waves on this beach can be deceptively powerful - be careful if you have kids.

Our group of friends had an unforgettable 5-day stay at Villa Elise. The villa is in a peaceful beachfront location — perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. One of the highlights was the beautiful swimming pool, which was clean and inviting at all hours — we loved having the option for a swim any time of day or night. The villa itself is modern, spacious, and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Celine and her team were warm, helpful, and always available when we needed anything. Breakfasts were generous and delicious, and we chose to have the in-house Chef prepare our dinners — every dish was excellent. A special highlight was the BBQ dinner, which was perfectly arranged and made for a great evening together. Villa Elise was everything we hoped for and more. It’s the perfect place for a group getaway, and we’re looking forward to return!

Awesome villa 20m from one of the best beaches in Tangalle area. House was perfect, Suresh and his wife treated us great, helped to arrange anything we needed. Definitely will be back here if we come back to this area of Sri Lanka

We had the best time at the villa. The location was a 10, private garden and pool, right on the beachfront. We had access to cafés and restaurants close by. A special mention to the lovely staff at the property who looked after us so well. The chef was outstanding and the food he cooked was restaurant quality. Definitely recommend this property and we will surely be back soon.

It is a great villa. Is much better in real life than in photos. The location is amazing - right on the beach. You can see and hear ocean from the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was really amazed by the whole experience. I’d definitely go there again and probably for a longer period of time.

the best stay in Sri Lanka. if you want to feel the nature and power of the ocean you have to live here for a few days. the sound of the ocean was fantastic, the house was clean and equipped. the hosts were very nice and helpful, they even did the laundry! definitely 10/10

Ruwan is an extremely kind person who is very keen to ensure that you do not miss anything. The place looked exactly like the pictures. Everything was very clean. There was a fridge full of free water. Breakfast times were by arrangement, which we found very pleasant. Breakfast could have varied a bit more (it was the same every day). Ruwan organized transportation for us to the next accommodation at the Uber price. And the driver was very nice too. We took a trip to the turtles and to Galle together with Ruwan, which I had honestly imagined a little differently. I thought he was something like a tour guide who would also give us information, but he just drove us. I found the price to be a bit too high for that. But it was still very nice and a good idea. We do not regret spending 4 nights with Ruwan and can recommend it with a clear conscience. I'd love to go there again.

Lovely place in a great location. Slightly tricky to find for our driver but access is via another hotel entrance. There wasn’t any WiFi when we were there and in a bit of a signal black spot but still a great stay!

Such a magic and breathtaking place on earth. The house is quite simple but fresh with separate bedrooms with separate doors. But what a location. Your private paradise beach but with restaurants and small nice hotels as neighbors. Tangalle town is small, friendly and with amazing restaurants. Quite and genuine. To the left you have long beaches with sea turtles. To the right more friendly to swim. The ocean is so close and the only surprise was how roaring the Tangalle coast ocean is. Bring earplugs plugs for better sleep. But all worth it waking up walking two meters and tipping the toes in sand. In your own private villa. We were a family of four and enjoyed the bedrooms, bathrooms en suite and cosy balcony and outdoor terass.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in ANB Surf View. MP is an excellent host, polite and helpful. He was there when ever we needed him.The property is extremely clean and well maintained.He had provided all the amenities required for our stay. Its very close to some excellent restaurants. I recommend this place.

The Namaskara Villa is pure heaven! Large and clean with very comfortable king size bed. Two toilets, spacious bathroom with hot shower and stars above your head was absolute dream. The kitchen is very well equiped for cooking, but we didn't cook at all, because we took advantage of possibility of having daily lunch and dinner from Malkanthí who is excellent chef! Malkanthí and Ruhunu took care of us not only with the dinners and lunches, they also did cleaning and shopping for us to keep our fridge full, because there is no supermarket nearby the villa. The garden is nice, full of wildlife and the ocean is just in front of the place. It is not so private as I expected, there were some fishermans nearby every day.

Wonderful stay and the property was amazing with access to the beach right outside the back gate. Couldn’t recommend enough!
