I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.

The house was an Ochaya (literally "tea house")before and we renovated it, which is an establishment where patrons are entertained by geisha. We kept the original structure and make it much more modern and comfortable. The river in front of the house is the must-see in Kyoto changing from cherry bloom to maples. The best location near Gojo bridge and Kiyomizuーgojo sta. can make it very convenient to all the famous spots.

From the moment we walked in, we wished we had reserved the property for more of our trip. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The grounds are beautifully maintained, as is the unit. The bathroom with large soaking tub overlooking the garden was superb, the bedding was extremely comfortable (Japanese -style bedding), the kitchen was well-equipped, and the whole property had an aura of luxury in nature. Such a magical experience! The historic building has been completely renovated with high-end features while maintaining authentic and historic elements, like exposed beams and gardens and tatami rooms. Loved this place!!

At our arrival it was raining and we were lost. I didn’t know we had to meet at the office it’s about a 10 min walk to the villa but the host was so kind to walk to us and gave us a tour to the villa. Overall the villa was nice and clean. My friends and I enjoyed our stay here

My family and I were absolutely in love with this stay! The location was amazing, the area around it was so peaceful, and most importantly the home was so incredibly cozy, clean, and practical. Wouldnt hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to others!
