Relax in a small port town. We have self-renovated an old house built about 70 years ago. Spread out and relax in our little home in the port town. It is an old house, so there are steep stairs (with handrails) and steps.We would appreciate it if you could take care of small children and those with bad feet. This is a detached house in a good location, 5 minutes walk from the Bikan Historical Quarter and 15 minutes walk from Kurashiki Station. This is an inn where you can rent out the entire building. The kitchen, toilet, bathroom, etc. have been completely renovated, and we have new equipment. There is a soba restaurant next door, and there are restaurants such as a bakery and pizzeria within walking distance, as well as a convenience store and drug store, making it a very convenient location.

The house is a beautiful nature. And also we have good neighbors. You will see the real Japanese countryside that is not written in the guidebook. The room is surrounded by my father's and my artworks. The huge kitchen, living room, and garden are yours. Please enjoy and relax in the cozy house.

Japanese Potter's Guesthouse - Wasyugama Kiln Stay

Welcome to Wasyugama, a traditional Bizen pottery kiln guesthouse in the peaceful hills near Kurashiki, Okayama. Stay beside an active pottery workshop and experience the quiet charm of rural Japan. Most guests stay 2–3 nights, but longer stays are warmly welcomed. The house, hand-built with natural wood by my father and me, is a private rental with kitchen, bath, and beds for up to 5 guests.
