Mansion vacation rentals in Tahoe City

Barney’s home was welcoming and spacious for our family ski trip. The kitchen was great for meal prep, the living room and game room were spacious, and the bedrooms were all in great shape. We would definitely stay here again!

My girlfriends and I loved our stay at the Big Dipper! The cabin is beautiful, comfortable and conveniently located. There was plenty of space for the six of us. We particularly enjoyed hanging out on the stunning deck, in the hot tub and at nearby Speedboat Beach. Sally was a communicative and helpful host, and her local recommendations are spot on! We would happily to return and will not hesitate to recommend this property to our friends and family.

Jaime’s home is an amazing find here in Tahoe. My friends and I enjoyed the stay here and will definitely consider staying again! The home has so much space to relax in and an amazing kitchen to cook in. Jaime was such an amazing host to us, she is very accommodating, and very friendly. I would recommend everyone to stay at Jaime’s place here in Tahoe.

So nice to have real hosts vs. a management property! The airbnb felt like a home and had a really well stocked kitchen for cooking. The bathrooms were really nice and our group generally enjoyed the house. Only thing to note is that we had issues with the hot tub cutting off and not warming up again so we were bummed not to be able to use it but once. That being said Maranda and Jerry were on the phone right away to help us troubleshoot and call repair. I have no doubts they'll get this resolved for the next guest

This house was great for a group. We went with parents and kids, and it was perfect. Hot tub was great, kitchen was fully stocked with lots of options, even had real knives that actually cut!! Plus all the sinks had real hand soap not those little cheap hotel soaps, everything was very thought out for the creature comforts. Only thing is, bring beach chairs & beach towels if you’re heading to the beach. And maybe your own pillow if you’re like me. But they had lots of extra blankets, pillows, and even roll away beds for the kids. Lastly, we stayed in summer, so didn’t matter as much, but they had the dual temp thermostat for upstairs downstairs temp differential which would be crucial in winter! And you can walk to Tahoe House Bakery!! Yum! Thanks Connie for an amazing weekend!

The perfect retreat nestled in a woodsy, peaceful area right by the Northstar Village. The place was stocked with plenty of towels (the makeup towels were much appreciated!) and linens. The hot tub, arcade machine, and massage chair were great bonuses. Kevin & Jennifer were communicative and responsive leading up to our stay and all throughout. We encountered a slight issue with the check-in code and some of the lights weren't working when we arrived, but Kevin & Jennifer reset the code quickly and immediately sent over extra lightbulbs. They also put together a beautifully designed Canva for guests with house instructions and local recommendations, a Spotify playlist that we rocked the entire time, and left some homemade cookie dough in the freezer for our stay! A+ hosts and we hope to be back in the future.

only superlatives to describe this house! great location where you can walk to the ski lifts (of course we used the mountaineer shuttle :-), super available owners, great views, very comfortable, well equipped kitchen, games for the kids, spacious. we loved it!

Really nice house, with everything we needed for a vacation with friends. The only thing missing was the barbecue.

There were eight of us — 5 adults and 3 children — and we were able to spread out. The kitchen with the large table was great and all the furniture was very comfortable. Walking distance from the beach was the best. Thank You.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Leighanna’s place. The home was stocked with everything we needed. I was impressed by how clean the home was. The highlight of our stay was enjoying dinners on the deck with the peaceful surroundings. Sadly we did not get to use the hot tub as Truckee had a small heatwave the weekend we were there. The AC was a nice treat. The home is located away from the main streets and shops so it is helpful to come prepared with all the items you will need to avoid having to go up and down the hill. I did locate a nice local market on my third day that was just a few minutes away at donner that came in handy for emergency items. I would definitely recommend Leighanna’s home and I look forward to booking it again.

Beautiful and very well appointed house in a great area. Ideal for a group weekend (or longer ideally) in and around Truckee. Friendly and very responsive host. Looking forward to staying again!

Serene. Sublime. Stellar. Donna’s home in Tahoe Dollar Point exceeded any expectations that were already lofty based on the profile, photos, and reviews. Donna was an amazing and responsive host and there is nothing about the location, amenities, neighborhood, etc. that could possibly have been better. My favorite part was probably morning coffee on the deck with the lake a short ways away in the background. A close second was sitting out on the deck as dusk turned into night and the stars blossomed on an otherwise silent world. Thanks, Donna. ❤️

This is the perfect Tahoe getaway. Easy access to the lake (rocky but lovely) and a great breakfast spot just next door. Would highly recommend if you have several couples or family that want a getaway.

We stayed at Sarah's house for 3 nights and we really enjoyed everything! the location was great, the clean air, the nature and the magnificent Lake Tahoe! The loma had everything you needed for living, lots of bedrooms and sleeping places, a terrace for relaxing, a grill and a Jacuzzi in the backyard! We will definitely come back!

The house was very nice and a short walk to the shops and restaurants. It would be a great place to stay during ski season, unfortunately the mountain closed the day we arrived. You could walk to a very nice rec center as well. It was nice to have all the streaming services on the TV. The kitchen was very well stocked which is important to us since we love to cook. Lori was very responsive to any questions.

A great, beautiful, place to stay. Grandparents, their children, and grandchildren in the area for daughter’s graduation from UNR, and we all were very comfortable in this spacious house. Beautiyarea to explore also. Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful stay at Harry's place! We loved the relaxing cabin vibe with the view of Lake Tahoe through the trees and enjoyed the hiking trail in walking distance to the house. Harry was a very responsive and accommodating host - definitely would recommend staying here!

Scott was a terrific host! We truly enjoyed his cabin, as it was a perfect fit for our family gathering with our kids who came in a from Las Vegas to meet us, coming in from Arizona. The cabin is truly amazing and we felt right at home. Scott was very friendly and always helpful and thoughtful! I highly recommend a Scott’s place, the house is perfect and Scott is a wonderful host! We built some amazing memories with our family and can’t wait to go back!

Really enjoyed our short stay in this townhome. It’s Tahoe! What could go wrong? The property has a lot of walking paths for your dog, which is great, just watch out for where careless dog owners didn’t clean up after their dogs! Hard to understand that given there are plastic bag dispensers everywhere. The unit was cozy and comfortably fit 9 of us with a dog. The bunkbed room was a hit with the kids.

We had a great stay here! The location was great and it was easy to get to. Michele was extremely responsive and it was a great spot for a weekend away.

The hosts were very accommodating to our last minute reservation when our car broke down on vacation. We can’t recommend this place enough. It was perfect for our group of 8. The beds and pillows were so comfortable!

Jason’s Lake Tahoe Townhome was very clean and well-suited for a family of two with children. Jason was an excellent host and promptly responded to our inquiries. The townhome’s proximity to Tahoe City provided easy access to essential amenities such as a grocery store, restaurants, the North Lake Tahoe Visitor Center, Lake Tahoe Dam, and more. I highly recommend.
