Cottage vacation rentals in Syracuse

Seldom, do you find a place where time stands still, the host is warm and welcoming and the location is beyond beautiful. This was our stay at Diane's cottage on the lake. We hiked local parks, kayaked the lake, enjoyed wonderful food, shopped and took in the view. Diane and her extended family were open, warm and delightful. Our regret is we didn't stay longer. Should we ever return, we will definitely stay at the cottage. Our many thanks and blessings to Diane and her family for making our stay remarkable.

We had the best family get away!! Great views from the house, kitchen has everything you need, the hot tub and fire pit were awesome bonuses and overall the place was excellent! We rent a lakefront getaway at least twice and year and this one was one of if not the best places we’ve stayed! Hosts are super nice, quick to answer any questions you have, and check in/out were super easy. And if you’re bass fishing, this is the perfect spot. 11/10!!

Everything we needed was supplied and at our fingertips, without being overrun with “stuff.” Well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. This rental was super cute and comfortable right on the water. We had a girls weekend and had everything we needed at Courtney's place. The cottage overlooks the water and it is a beautifully clear lake. Beds were very comfortable and everything was neat and clean. There are a few set of stairs to get down to the cottage along with stairs to access the downstairs living quarters/bedroom so just be aware of that. We saw Eagles over the water and heard owls at night...very peaceful and private. Tons to do in the town of Skaneateles as well and lots of great restaurants. We would certainly recommend this rental to anyone and are looking forward to coming back!

Frederic's home was lovely, but what stood out was the beautiful lakefront with private dock. Frederic was very easy to work with and extremely responsive to all my questions.

Airbnb was a perfect place to stay while we visited the area – even on a rainy day the lake looked beautiful! Listing was as described and the host was super responsive.

We highly enjoying our stay at Samantha’s cottage. It was a beautiful weekend getaway and the fall foliage made it even better!! The kitchen was extremely clean, and had everything we needed to cook meals during our stay. We weren’t there long enough to use the washer and dryer but I was grateful to have it if needed. The house has lots of natural sunlight, and the covered porch was great when it rained or when we didn’t want to make the walk down to the lake.

We loved our stay. Everything was just as described. We would definitely stay here again! David and Betsy were extremely accommodating and the bottle of local wine was a really nice touch! Thank you!

This is the best property we've ever stayed at. Peaceful, clean, everything has been thought of in advance. Irene is an incredibly kind and gracious host. This was our second stay, and will be a regular part of our summer travel plans. I highly recommend!

The Little House radiates charm, as do the hosts. The linens were so comfortable I made note of the brands. The yard has century old peonies and grape vines. Be sure to check out the cute downtown.

This was the third year staying at Erica’s, and each time has been great. After a morning of fishing it is nice to return and relax on the waterfront. The house has plenty of room for 3 couples. The house is very comfortable, everything was ready for us when we arrived. Erica reached out to make sure we had everything we needed and that our stay was going well. Great Host and a great house

We had a great time here. Beautiful location. Sonia is responsive and accommodating. Great spot for the summer with lots of games and water toys in the shed.
