Step outside to hundreds of miles of biking and hiking trails, and stocked lakes and streams. Well maintained paved state road to cabin driveway. The house is 20 minutes West of Harrisonburg VA and JMU.

Our 250 sq ft tiny house was built by our talented craftswoman Kara. We used wood from our property and reclaimed materials to create a cozy and unique getaway. The front porch looks out to a beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and looks up to a local vintage sign. We are LGBTQ+ welcoming. One of the best Airbnbs I have stayed in! What a charming home in a fantastic location, totally updated with everything you could need to be comfortable. I felt right at home and several days I just stayed in and enjoyed the house and the lovely view from the windows. The bed was extremely comfortable and the rooms felt spacious. The photos don’t do it justice. There was a lot of thought and love put into this home and Katrina could not have been a better hostess! 5 stars all the way!

This is the third time I have stayed at Karen’s. I keep going back when I visit Polyface farm for events. It’s a quick 16 minute drive to the farm. The property is peaceful and quiet. Everything is well stocked and very welcoming. Will be back again!

The Sweet Little Darling stay was charming and comfortable. I only wish we could have stayed longer to gain even more of a feel for the place and the area. The home is an effective blend of historic detail and modern convenience. We had a toddler with us, and so understandably, we were especially mindful in using the front and back stairways. The place is one of the cleanest Airbnbs in which I’ve stayed and definitely deserves its “5” rating.
