A Truly Beautiful Escape" I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The surroundings were absolutely stunning, blending seamlessly with nature. It felt like a peaceful retreat where I could relax and reconnect with both the comfort of home and the beauty of the outdoors. First time in Lindau Insel and it didn't disappoint. The apartment was 10mins from the station. I don't move fast over cobbles and neither does my case. The apartment was above an ice cream shop that also sold coffee, but another 2 minutes away was a bakery that was just the ticket for breakfast. Sandra got to know me well. Although there were plenty of restaurants, cafes etc, I like to cook food and the kitchen was adequately stocked with pots, utensils etc. It would be useful to have a map and note of local food shops opening times. Google not completely current on that front. We used the train to get about and see around Bodensee; convenient and good service with not far to walk to the apartment at the end of a day out. The island has lovely parks and promenades to stroll and relax in. We are the bench hunters! & found many fab ones to enjoy the views. Altogether, great apartment, great location & responsive host. We would recommend this apartment for your visit to the area.

Fabulous location right in the centre of Lindau island adjacent to all the amenities and attractions as well as 5 minutes walk from the station. The apartment is clean, cosy and well maintained - 4 adults fitted in comfortably and the big bedroom is particularly comfortable and has everything you need. Would come back in a heartbeat 🥰

Great location right by the wildflower meadow and lake. Apartment well equipped, terrace shady and cool at 👍 noon I felt very comfortable here! The village and the lake are really beautiful!

Warm welcome by Michael, who showed us the apartment incl. technology. Delicious surprises awaited us as a welcome, so we could survive the first evening without shopping. The apartment and the garden, which was available to us alone, are beautiful. The apartment is very high quality furnished and we immediately felt very comfortable. It's just a few meters to the Feldafing S-Bahn, but you can't hear it. Lake Starnberg is just a few minutes' walk downhill in beautiful nature. Silke and Michael were very helpful and available at any time. We can highly recommend the apartment, the area and the very friendly landlords and enjoyed our stay very much. We will be happy to come back.

A beautiful apartment by the lake with a great view. The restaurant is very delicious, in the area you can go boating, swimming, play mini golf and watch the stars. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, with complete amenities and senior-friendly furnishings. The hostess is very friendly and warm. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful 6 days at the Fisherman’s House at the Ammersee. The house was so comfortable and welcoming, the kitchen was fully equipped, the bedrooms were cozy. All amenities were there and functioning well, including washer and dryer. Marco and the team of the Strandhotel were excellent hosts, always helpful and very friendly. Location is excellent in quiet neighborhood with short walk to the lake and is a great starting point for trips to the “Voralpenland” and to Munich. One of the best Airbnbs we have ever been to. Strongly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.

We were allowed to spend a few great days in beautiful Allgäu. We immediately felt very comfortable in Alexander's apartment. He is a pleasant host. Everything worked out! Due to the great and easy to use wood stove in the living room, we often had a nice fire in the evening, which we appreciate very much in winter days. The location has a super equipped kitchen, hammer good barista coffee and is also dog friendly. The bedding and mattresses were top notch. There is no unnecessary clutter in the house. We'd love to come back anytime!

We stopped here as part of a business trip and were very satisfied. The place is spacious, clean and very well equipped. There is a huge TV, an artificial fireplace with lighting effects and heating, a lounge area, a 360-degree Owl conference camera and all rooms are air-conditioned. We will be happy to come back and highly recommend the accommodation!

A particularly great place to stay, especially if you are traveling with children and like animals. The feel-good factor is immediately available, the accommodation is equipped with everything you need. The location is also great. We felt almost at home from the first moment and enjoyed the days very much! There is enough space, even if there are six of you.

Perfect place for a lake-side holiday. We stayed 3+ weeks, Meinolf‘s Place had everything we needed. We did encountered an issue with the clothes dryer. Meinolf immediately took action to replace it with a new one. Very responsive and pleasant to deal with. The house and furnishings are somewhat dated, but if you’re not looking for high-end luxury, you can feel right at home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the flat has been done to a very high standard and is very well equipped with everything you need. Barbara was very kind and helped to make our Christmas break feel very special. We would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed in the accommodation with ten people over New Year's Eve. Great location , lake in close proximity , lots of places of interest nearby. All great. I'd love to come back...

We spent 5 nights with our family in Robert's beautiful house. The house is right on the lake and has exceeded our expectations from the location. We were able to enjoy the sunset on the terrace in the evening. Communication was excellent, a children's travel cot for our one-year-old granddaughter was immediately provided. Thank you for the wonderful time!

The apartment in the basement is very nice and tastefully decorated. The sun shines in the kitchen in the morning. Beautiful old garden with huge trees. The house is just as beautiful as the photos! However, it is two stops with the Oberlandbahn to Dießen or an hour's walk. Riederau is a wonderful starting point for bike tours.

We spent a 5-day vacation here with our little daughter. There was a crib and a high chair. In the kitchen there was the most necessary and we could cook a delicious meal every day. For this, we sat comfortably outside on the terrace overlooking the mountains. Since we don't have a car, the location was very important to us. That was perfect too. You can get to the lake very quickly on foot. Playgrounds are not far away and there are even bus stops nearby, so we could do a lot. Overall, we enjoyed it very much!!

The accommodation was not far from the promenade and you could reach all the villages in the area quite quickly. The rented room was very clean and you felt very comfortable. The hostess was very polite and likeable, we would come back! 1000 stars instead of 5 😊

The accommodation is very suitable for a large group. Beautifully located directly on the lake and well equipped. Plenty of seating inside and out. Communication with the host was very good.
