Townhome vacation rentals in Surf City

We loved the airbnb and the location. We had some struggles with the Wi-fi but Kayce took care of the problem which was great because we had a lot of rain. We ended up only using 2 out of 3 bedrooms but if we need a 3 bedroom next visit we would definitely stay here again. Oh, and loved the big comfy couch!!

David and Kris were terrific hosts! They went out of their way to keep us informed of fun events happening around the island, which we greatly appreciated as it was our first time to BHI. The unit is just as pictured and beautifully renovated. Kitchen is expertly organized and has full array of cookware. The location is central on the island, making it a quick ride to the market, beach, club, etc. The surrounding live oaks and foliage are beautiful. I would definitely recommend! We will be back.

My wife and I wanted to try somewhere different since we normally go to the beach in Atlantic Beach. We decided to try Topsail. What a great decision. Missy's place was fantastic!! We found it to be exactly as advertised. It was very clean and comfortable. Conveniently located to local restaurants and activities. It was a very short walk to the pool and beach. And the VIEWS WERE SPECTACULAR!! Missy was a great host. She was very responsive and friendly. We would highly recommend it and will for sure be back ourselves. The only negative from our stay was having to leave!!

We have visited Robs place several times and we enjoy staying there..It is clean and out the back door, you are at the beach..Close to restaurants..Rob is a great host..We will be making reservations again soon..We definitely recommend staying there..

This is the 2nd consecutive year we’ve stayed here for our annual girls trip! We usually go to a different beach each year but we came back to Kure because we liked this house so much. I really can’t say enough good things about it. Super convenient to the beach so our group can come and go as they please. It’s very comfortable, clean, spacious and we feel very safe here. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance but this year we drove 10 minutes to Carolina Beach which was also very easy and convenient. Michelle is very communicative and responsive. Couldn’t ask for a better host!

Robyn’s place was everything we asked for and needed for our yearly family vacation to Kure beach. The place was very clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Being steps away from the ocean made this stay so special. The balcony upstairs was a wonderful bonus for early morning coffee and watching sunsets. Thanks again Robyn for sharing your place with us.

This was our 2nd family vacation on Carolina Beach. Our family rented 2 places close to each other. This rental was very clean and nicely decorated. It was comfortable for 7 adults and 2 dogs. We hosted dinners for 20 easily. The elevator was nice for loading/unloading the cars. Had 1 issue with the front door lock, which Connie & Joe fixed the next day.

This is my 2nd time staying here. Love the location and the stay. They go out of their way to make sure we are taken care of. I really appreciate the hospitality.

Andrea’s place was perfect for our girls trip! So close to the beach (with private access) and about a 15-minute walk from dining and the pier. We loved being able to use the beach chairs, and the decks off the house were great for lounging. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and cookware, and we appreciated Andrea providing trash bags, soap, etc. Would definitely stay again!

What a perfect location for families!! Andy's place is perfect for families with children of all ages. It was close enough that we felt comfortable letting our teens explore the beach on their own and easy for me to take our toddler back to the house for a nap. The upstairs loft was spacious and had beds for everyone. They had lots of thoughful details including a "in case you forgot" bin in each bathroom. The outdoor space is adorable and great to visit and enjoy the salty air. My husbands favorite spot was the well stocked outdoor shower. So, whether you are traveling with young or older kiddos, this place is perfect!!

Everyone reads these reviews to make decisions on where to stay for vacation…if you’re reading this one, stop and book it. You’re not going to find a better Airbnb! The host was responsive to my questions and responded quickly. Location is perfect; the beach is a short walk across the street. Pool was fantastic! The house was gorgeous, and had every amenity possible. We’re talking batteries, flashlights, fully stocked kitchen with lots of spices and baking supplies. Access to several bath towels, beach towels, bikes, rafts…it saved us from packing several items! Bedrooms are cozy and comfortable. It was bright, sunny…and you have 2 balconies to choose from to drink your morning coffee!

The place exceeding our expectations. It was easy to get into when we checked in. We had five adults and two children (ages 2 and 6) in our family. My 80 year old mother was with as well. The elevator was a life saver for her. The layout allowed the parents and children to have the entire 2nd floor to themselves. Great grandma also stayed on the 2nd floor as there were 3 bedrooms and two full bathrooms on this floor. The 4th floor was a great place to hang out, play games, and put a huge puzzle together. It also had an amazing sleep space, although we did not need it. The full bathroom on this floor was also much appreciated. The kitchen was amazing, having everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals together throughout the week. The beach was very close (3 min walk) on a nice boarded walk way with no traffic or worries as we walked with little ones daily. The pool was very close as well and made a great alternative when kids tired of the beach. Highly recommend!

Our stay was wonderful. Tammi and Jim are wonderful hosts who kept checking in with us during our stay. The place was awesome, it had board games, uno, domino and wonderful books as well. It rained the weekend we were there so these things made it easy to stay indoors. They recommended local restaurants which were at a walkable distance. Also there was a lot of beach stuff that was available in the unit to use - which was very nice. Highly recommend this place

Dan’s listing was an incredible place to stay at! The house was right next to the beach and had everything you could ever need to cook and clean. It is so nice to go to a house and not have to buy salt and pepper! Also, the house was not far down the island so getting to grocery stores off the island only took a few minutes! The place was very great for our group and we definitely recommend staying here for anyone who is considering this listing! I also appreciate how Dan tried to help us find parking when one of our guest had to arrive latter than intended and we were already over the parking allowed at the property! Thank you so much!

Condo was Clean and fully furnished with extra little amenities to get us started for the week that were very thoughtful. Very responsive to our questions. Really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back!! A short walk across the street to access the beach. Beautiful view of the sound from the back.

Neely, host, was great. Communication was great, responsive time was great, and check-in instructions were well written and easily understood. The home was beautiful and the neighbor was very quiet. It was exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen had everything you'd need to make dinner and more. The home was well equipped with outdoor toys, board games, linen, stools etc. Everything about the place was great. We loved it!

This place was all we hoped and more. Because of the weather we weren’t able to enjoy it as much as we would have, but it still gave us a haven for wonderful family memories. Thank you, Ashleigh!

We had a great stay at the Boho Chateau this past weekend! It is very conveniently located in a super cute neighborhood which was perfect for all of the family events that were happening in the area. The backyard was peaceful and private so we even got to do a little meditation and sunbathing! Thank you to Brooke for providing this cute place, for being a great host, & available to us if we ever needed you!

Convenient to beach and pool, yet not have the price tag of oceanfront is what drew us to this place. Bonuses were a beach wagon, extra beach chairs & toys. Elevator helpful for groceries & luggage. Clear instructions and owners communicated they were available should we need anything; yet not constantly messaging either. However, we were good and our biggest goal was some down time to relax with our family:)

Wonderful host. Great place to stay. Comfortable beds, nice showers, tv was easy to work and a beautiful view out the back. We had everything we needed and would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay. The house is right on the end of the island and has one of the best views I have ever had at a beach house rental. Given it was right on the inlet where currents can be strong, we did not swim directly infront of the house (though others were) and went down the beach a bit to get in the water. It was great being able to walk around to the sound on the beach in the other direction. The house was clean, you would not have known that it was animal friendly given the lack of animal hair around. The hosts communicated quickly and were gracious enough to let us in 30 minutes early when we arrived on the island too soon.

The view is impeccable, the house is spacious as well as spotless, the atmosphere is serene. My mother and I wanted a quiet getaway, and we got exactly that. On an interesting note, there is some occasional noise of a very particular type. Camp Lejeune is right across the bay so you may hear some distant artillery testing and fly-bys of military helicopters. The sounds from these were infrequent and non intrusive, being pretty distant. I found it intriguing and even entertaining. My mother and I brought our own cooking ingredients and we appreciated the well stocked kitchen supplies such as pots and various cooking utensils. We never wanted for anything. My mother would sit by the window to enjoy the view while doing her embroidery. I used one of the kayaks twice, and appreciated the supplied life jackets. I thoroughly enjoyed the calm waters. My favorite thing to do during my stay was to sit by the water watching the birds catching fish and reading books. We hope to come again!
