Everything was great with this stay. Incredible value for money. Suryakanti is so kind and a brilliant cook. She showed us around her village and her farm. It’s a bit far from the centre of Jogja but so worth it to be surrounded by rice paddies and the countryside. Sadly we were only staying for one night - next time I visit Jogja I will definitely come back! If you want to experience a local side to Jogja with brilliant hosts don’t hesitate to book.

Vila Tanen was a really nice guesthouse! All wood and nicely decorated! And a beautiful swimming pool in a beautiful garden! This is really recommended! The place is also very nice. No AC needed as it's not as hot as the center of Yogya. Wonderful temperature! And very nice people who fit on the house because Maarten himself was not there in our period that we rented the house. We were able to rest and swim and walk here!! We would love to come back..
