Cozy bedroom 10min from Manhattan in a shared apt

This is my second time with Elias, Marcelo, and the cats. It’s quickly become my favorite place to stay in New York. It’s super quick and easy to get to the city and you have cafes, pharmacy, and grocery in the immediate area as well. The hosts are so so kind and feel like immediate friends. They helped me get my stuff up and down the stairs and even fed me dinner on my last night. My bestie Ray the orange cat was always waiting for me when I got home from my outings- even rushing out to greet me late at night. As someone who travels a lot, I’m sure I will be back soon.

Astoria cozy bedroom 15min train to Manhattan

Kyung EunRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I absolutely loved staying at Boddi and Shazzy’s place! It’s located in Astoria, Queens - my first time staying in this neighborhood, and I was pleasantly surprised by how safe and peaceful it is. The area feels like a true residential district, yet it's well-connected to Manhattan by train (about a 30-minute ride). There are plenty of great restaurants, cafés, and supermarkets within walking distance. The apartment was clean and cozy. I loved the room decor, and I especially appreciated the fan and small air conditioner - they made the space extra comfortable. Boddi thoughtfully provided welcome snacks and drinks, which was such a nice touch. While she was away, her friend kindly looked after the place and made sure everything ran smoothly. I felt well cared for throughout my stay. I highly recommend this place for one or two people visiting NYC who are looking for a safe, quiet, and comfortable home base - perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing or a busy work trip.

Boho Chic With Private Parking

AkatsukiRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The place was close to 7 train station and quick to travel to Manhattan. The host gave out clear instructions for check-in, check-out, and during the stay. However, during the night the road could be noisy with trucks coming and going. Earplugs are recommended! Overall, it is a great place for people looking to frequent commute to and from Manhattan!
