Our treasured tile hung Hop Pickers cottage dates from 1750 and is perfectly situated between the train station and the town centre of Sevenoaks. Brimming with character and period features, including an inglenook fireplace, beamed ceilings and a unique, bespoke kitchen. The property is set back from the main road and has front and rear gardens. As a period property Bankside Cottage has original features including some low doorways and steep stairs. Please bear this in mind when booking.

We are a short drive to Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, award winning vineyards as well as numerous National Trust properties and stately homes such as Hever Castle, Penshurst Place and Knole Park.

The cottage is in a semi-rural setting. There is a garden with table and chairs for sitting outside, and a BBQ to enjoy summer days. The cottage has everything to ensure your stay is comfortable. Nearby there is a choice of quaint country pubs and the bars and restaurants of Sevenoaks are a short drive. There are lots of wonderful nearby country walks. Hever Castle, Chartwell House (Winston Churchill), & Down House (Charles Darwin) are just some of the attractions within a short drive.

No smokingis peaceful and centrally-located place.
