Fantastic accommodation, you should experience something like this at least once! My boyfriend and I stayed at the place for two nights and enjoyed it very much. We were warmly welcomed with a sweet Balinese snack and welcome drink and felt very comfortable. Thank you!

We had an incredible stay and will definitely be back. Made was so welcoming and professional - he also assisted with ordering dinner to our villa from a nearby restaurant which had the best food ever! Definitely a must stay, awesome view hidden in the jungle.

This super villa gave us a great experience! The value for money is perfect and the rooms are great. There was good contact and all questions were answered right away. Also, breakfast was arranged which I did not know about so this was more positive. Quiet and close to the beach location.

What can you say about this place?? An absolute delight!! We were lucky enough to have 5 nights and it was a real highlight for us and a beautiful place to make memories. The house itself is quite remarkable. The detail and natural flow make it so serene and calming to be in and you can tell it was built with care and love. Nyoman was kind enough to send pictures of the build and explained how they used only local trades to do the work which was important to them, and as a result you can feel the community within. Some people may not be fussed either way but for us it really added to experience. It’s: situated a perfect 5min drive out of Ubud and the village was the perfect antidote to the hectic pace of town. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance and everything you need if you want to stay local. Nyoman was so generous and kind with our kids and genuinely wanted us to experience his community which was awesome. A beautiful man! Hopefully we’re back soon. Thank you!?

Overall a very nice and private place. It’s a cool setup with indoor bedroom and outdoor living area and bathroom. The Host is very communicative and polite. The only thing to us was the private pool and bathtub, which is great to have, however the rice farmer next door can see everything in the garden and was around a lot as well.

Very nice accomodation with 2 cute waterfalls nearby. You can order food by messenger from restaurants since it is a little bit remote.

The house itself is beautiful—spacious, well-designed, and the pool was a fantastic bonus. We really enjoyed the space overall. One downside was that the shared living room is in a separate building, and with only one key, it made things tricky when different people wanted to use it. The area to the right felt safe and walkable, but to the left, we didn’t feel as comfortable exploring, so we stuck to one side. The staff were lovely—friendly, warm, and helpful throughout our stay. The chef/housekeeper was also very kind and clearly meant well, but she was a bit too involved for us. She often asked where we were going, who we were with, and when she could come back. While it may be cultural, we had booked the place for privacy, so it didn’t quite suit our needs. There were only three of us, so the key situation for the bedrooms worked fine, but if two people were sharing a room, one key might not be ideal. This is a truly special place we’ll never forget. We’ve traveled a lot, but never stayed in such a unique home. It’s not about traditional comfort — it’s about the atmosphere of total silence, nature, and solitude. The house is set deep in the rice fields and jungle, with no one around — only the sounds of nature. Nights can feel a bit scary, but mornings are pure bliss. The pool is filled with natural spring water — no chemicals, just cold, clean freshness. We spent the whole day swimming, even though we usually avoid hotel pools. The architecture of the house is incredible — it makes you feel deeply connected to nature and yourself. And a special thank you to the host — so kind and welcoming. He helped us light a fire and set up a cozy BBQ evening. We’ll remember this experience for a long time.

What a magnificent place! From the welcome juice and fresh fruit plate on arrival to the pristine temple grounds this place could not get any better! Anselmus and his team are excellent hosts! Fast at responding to messages and respecting privacy at the villa! The pictures do not do this place any justice! You do have creepy crawlers etc around the bathroom but that’s to be expected when you’re in the jungle! The whole area is area is full of traditional Balinese culture! From the sacred pools just a short walk away to the temple right above the very private villa! It is very isolated and not close to amenities for convenience but if peace and tranquility is your vibe then this is the place for you! Anselmus and his team cook some very tasty meals with prior arrangement! Overall our experience here was above and beyond our expectations! A very unforgettable stay and hopefully make it back some day soon!

The place is very beautiful and tranquil. We had fun exploring Sidemen! We had a lot of questions and requests and Ketut made sure we had everything we asked for. Amazing experience sleeping in the jungle, would definitely recommend!

Villa Idanna in the rural village of Sidemen is a pure slice of Bali paradise. The property is beautiful, thoughtfully laid out, clean and with every comfort you could want. The beauty of the villa marries seamlessly with the stunning natural surrounds, views of Sidemen and Mt Agung. Nengah, Wayan and team create a calm, kind and ultra relaxed atmosphere, seamlessly catering to every need. Breakfast and dinner, so fresh and delicious, most days we couldn’t eat lunch as we were too full. The chef very kindly catered for our daughter who struggles a little with unfamiliar foods (as she is autistic) and prepared a version of the meal without sauces etc. Freshly brewed coffee in the mornings and for afternoon tea usually with a tasty Balinese treat. The villa is very well positioned with Laksmi silver making class, and a couple of wurangs within easy walking distance. During our stay we enjoyed a wonderful balance of activity and relaxation. Villa Idanna is truly special, we will be back.

This place was on my bucket list for so long, and when I finally reached it, I found it amazing. When you build hype for something for a long time, it often does not live up to it, but this place was even better than I had hoped, better than the photos. When you look at the rice fields from the porch or any of the upper floors, you feel peace and calm. The best part is that even though it is surrounded by rice fields and the structure is designed to have you live in nature, there were minimal bugs because of how the lights are placed and how the structure is created. Truly amazing. And the host and house staff are very polite, friendly, and easy to approach.

If it's your first time here, the location of the house may be a bit difficult to find. You need to walk in after getting off the car. The private space is very private. It's located near the mountain. People who are afraid of small animals need to consider carefully. It's not suitable for one person, because it's very quiet at night, as if the entire valley has only this one house... There are a lot of spiders, no drying area, and it needs to be cleaned diligently. If you don't mind insects and want to pursue ultimate quiet, it is highly recommended.

We absolutely loved the stay here. The place looks stunning and the view from there is breathtaking. It was little further from Ubud center than we thought, but it was also a plus to enjoy extra scooter rides while enjoying the surroundings. Host was amazing, would recommend this place.

This is the best host I've ever had on all my travels, and they made our trip to Rowena so memorable.Before we arrived in Rowena, the Host's sister thoughtfully asked us what time we would arrive, and when we arrived, they thoughtfully helped us with our luggage and shared different drinks with us.The Host's sister is very beautiful and elegant, she and her husband are very approachable, and the music played is very quiet.When they heard we were going to chase dolphins early, they were willing to get up early to send us to the pier.We are very, very grateful for their care and help, they take care of us like our parents.The cabin is very cozy and clean, the small garden is beautiful and tidy, there is relaxing music, cute dogs, cats, and birds, everything is so beautiful.Before we left, we took a photo with the owner to record our wonderful encounter.I love Rovina, I love this little garden, I love the two owners, I hope they can be seen by more good friends, and I look forward to seeing us again in the near future.
