Sugar Bear Cabin

AdamRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
For peace and quiet in a beautiful location, this is your spot. Great accommodations within an easy drive of Sparta and West Jefferson for small town attractions with genuinely nice people. Recommend bringing fishing rod for the pond and binoculars for wildlife sightings. Use Google maps instead of Waze for the address for ease of initial arrival. We’ll definitely be repeat guests!

Buck Wild Reserve Mountain Cabin w VIEWS, need 4WD

AlexRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Recommend this cozy cabin to all of you who is looking for a peaceful and beautiful surroundings on top of the mountain. Trails are not far away, same with a grocery store’s. Plenty of space to play with a family or just walk around in the morning cloud while drinking coffee. High clearance vehicle is mandatory to get there.

Cozy Hide-A-Way

KimRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Cozy Hideaway is the perfect name for Jackie's place. We selected Jackie's place based on location. I communicated with Jackie initially and she was very helpful. We needed to be near AT, as my husband was section hiking from Marion to Damascus. Location was very important and this was the perfect HOME BASE. With the Railroad Store/Cafe (highly recommend) across the street, and having a stocked kitchen allowed us to make our own meals - which was great! The main living area opens out to a larger "open air" screened room. WIFI was strong, which also allowed me to work remotely with no issues. If you are section hiking the AT or just want a peaceful get away, I highly recommend "Cozy Hideaway".

30-Acre Secluded Nature Retreat

MeganRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Perfect place to disconnect. The drive in can be a little rough with gravel roads, but it's fine with the right car. The views are stunning and it is so quiet with the occasional Moooooo from the pastures. The house is well stocked with old school toys and board games, my toddler loved the BoomBox and the walks through the hillside to find cows

Teasterwood

DanielleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great time staying so close to Grayson Highlands at the Teasterwood home. Billy was very responsive and answered all my questions. The place was a perfect size for our group, had all the kitchen amenities we needed, and was very clean and comfortable! We hope to stay there again soon!

Peaceful Holler

AprilRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This property was beautiful and super close to Grayson Highlands State Park. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils you could possibly need. We enjoyed the views of the firefly light show from the back porch. We wished we had time to enjoy the fire pit - it looked so cozy with cute adirondack chairs - but we were whooped from all the hiking we did.

Small town home

Michael & AliciaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Marion is a fairly cute Appalachian town. There is a nice theater in town that has concerts and such. Hungry mother’s state park is very close to the rental. There are a few good restaurants in town, nothing exceptional, but some good local dives. As for the rental itself, it’s all sufficient. There are two beds, but with memory foam mattresses, which are a little on the stiff side, but I enjoy a more firm mattress. There is a basement with the laundry, and it’s your average basement. It’s not really part of the rental area, but we were allowed to do some laundry which was nice. There is also an upstairs area (unfurnished) that we did not use. The kitchen is nicely decorated and stocked with necessities. Everything was as expected. Bathroom is small but shower is powerful and everything was clean. The front porch was a good place to watch the neighborhood kids play on their bikes and listen to the birds.
