Farmstay vacation rentals in Südsteiermark

We are a family of four, to whom Anja has provided a larger accommodation than chosen. The house was very nice, clean, tidy and with a wonderful ceramic stove.

We were allowed to spend a nice week in this unique accommodation and immediately felt very comfortable. The house is idyllically located on the edge of the forest, surrounded by nature, but still very well connected to the infrastructure and thus ideal starting point for hikes and exploring. A particularly beautiful view can be enjoyed from the terrace, which has been lovingly built on a hill and constantly invites you to enjoy peace and relaxation. The property is very comfortable, well equipped and offers everything to feel comfortable. We were welcomed warmly and provided with good tips for excursions and activities, communication went remarkably well and quickly, from minute 1 of booking. :) Paul and his mother are loving and committed hosts, always helpful and available. At this point, a big thank you to both for a nice relaxing time as well as the trust to have shared their idyllic treasure with us.

Ema’s place is beautifully located in peaceful nature surroundings. There is a lot of space for the kids to play and they loved the many animals. Our kids could use the bicycles and cars of Ema’s kids and they even put up a little floated pool to cool down. Ema is very helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed a local and fresh breakfast every day. Loved it here!

A beautiful, secluded cabin with lots of space. Heating is mainly via the very pleasant tiled stove. Unfortunately, we could use the garden with the outdoor loungers in April little, but looked very inviting. Overall, we felt very comfortable.

This place delighted us. Peace, nature, animals, details. The view is amazing. The owner was friendly and gave us local recommendations. The place is close to all the necessary amenities. We'd always be happy to come back.

Great place view a spectacular view!:) we had everything we needed for a weekend stay with our little family. Our 3 year-old was amazed by the surrounding farm life (e.g. tractor, cows) and our host (Andreas’ mother) was also really nice. Recommended!

The stay in Clemens' cottage was pure relaxation. The area is fantastically beautiful and full of nature. It invites you to walk. The cottage has a sunny terrace where you can relax all day, without unnecessary noise. On the yard there are things animals (dogs, horses, donkey) that are very sweet and confiding. Everything was clean and tidy upon arrival, even the wood stove was already in operation. I recommend it to anyone who needs a break from everyday life in nature.

Ales was an amazing host, the apartment was nice and cute, close to a lot of activities with great views! He is really nice, available to help and extremely friendly! Highly recommend

This experience can only be experienced, not described. I recommend it to everyone. The description is perfect, and the other reviews speak for themselves. We were with two young children and I hope to go back as soon as possible.

We spent 3 nights here, we had a great time. The apartment is even more beautiful than in the pictures, the hosts thought of everything, so we were perfectly satisfied with everything. The reception was nice and very friendly, we received a tour recommendation in the neighborhood and everything was shown in the apartment. The common garden is beautiful and the whole family is very kind. We could easily park the car in front of the house, quiet neighborhood, it was very peaceful to sleep here. Thank you for hosting us, I hope the house will last for another 400 years!:)

We had a lovely stay at Roswitha's place, the house felt like home and the views were stunning. The kids loved Yakari and Xaver - the two alpakas! Hope to be back someday!

If you like quitness and nature, this is a place to stay for two or there nights. Arrival on train is close but you need your provisions for your stay.

Wonderful, peaceful stay in a clean, stunning home. Weather did not cooperate with us at first unfortunately, we were stuck in a fog bank which impeded our view. But on the last day the sun came out, the fog cleared and we were amazed by the view! It was absolutely stunning, and I cannot recommend this place enough. Hope to be back someday!

The location was very quiet and the surroundings wonderful. There are some animals on site and nearby which is nice. The place was very clean and the details for the check out were very detailed. The only thing that was tedious was the communication in advance regarding check-in. We have received information for the local arrival to find the accommodation, but no response to a request for check-in and shortly before arrival.

Thank you! We felt very comfortable. :) The place is very attractively furnished, we were provided with all the information we needed in advance. The hosts were easily accessible and quickly helped us with wifi, etc.

The place is spacious and has everything you need. All around you there is nothing but fields and trees, it’s very quiet and you can completely disconnect from the everyday busy world (also because we didn’t have phone signal, but Alenka’s place provides internet so no problem for some Netflix at night 😊). Alenka and her husband were super helpful and responsive and we had great time at their place.

We were a group of 7 people and had a very nice stay. All organizational issues were easily and simply regulated and we felt right at home. There is plenty of space, you can pass the time on the premises or explore the beautiful area and wine taverns. All in all highly recommended.

If you're looking for the perfect getaway, this is the place we absolutely recommend! The house is gorgeous, spacious and decorated with great attention to detail. The furnishing is top notch – the kitchen has absolutely everything you need, and we had no problem cooking a variety of dishes as if we were at home. Everything is sparkling clean and the peace and quiet this place provides makes it ideal for total relaxation. The environment is beautiful and the overall experience of the stay was beyond all of our expectations. Simply perfect! The host was very friendly and always at your service❤️ Thanks and see you again🥰
