Vacation rentals with lake access in Subotica

We had a wonderful time in Gerard and Minka's apartment with 2 adults, 3 children and a small dog! Everything was as described, clean and very idyllic. We felt really comfortable from the start. The house is in a quiet location right next to a beautiful grove, so peace and relaxation are ensured. The great swimming lake is a few minutes' walk away and we spent a lot of time there as it has many locations and great play opportunities. In 15 minutes you can reach Kiskunhalas by car, where there are many shopping opportunities and you can buy almost everything. Nearby are also many picturesque villages and great cities such as Szeged, where you can do a lot with children. (Zoo, slide park, etc.) The contact with the two was great! They were very helpful, friendly, quick to respond and gave us extra tips for activities! (Bagac Cultural Festival.) Thank you for everything!

Beautiful house, Izabella is a good host

The accommodation was very good, on the outskirts of Szeged. The bus stop and the shop were 15 minutes' walk away, so you could easily walk to everything. I can only recommend it!

We had a great stay on the Hungarian Puszta, it was an ideal place to start exploring the surrounding area with our big dog. It is a very quiet, rural place and we had the luck to spend our time there while the fruit trees were in bloom! Lots of wildlife and beautiful Hungarian nature surrounds you here. Jens and Dana are absolutely amazing hosts and were always ready to help us with any questions or recommendations of the area. We are super grateful for all of their kindness and help! Our only stumbling block was the stairs. They are quite a challenge to get up and down from and as someone who is afraid of heights, this was not completely ideal. However, we did have the option to sleep on the ground floor (pull-out sofa bed), and this was a real savior for us.

This apartment is luxurious, new and comfortable. Milica is responsive and welcoming. The area is lovely- close to the lake and few minutes walk from the zoo. The bus stop to Subotica is only few minutes away. Great stay !

All OK. A lockable garden with a restaurant parking next door with good food. We were on the way, and all we needed was to get some sleep, and it met our expectations. We felt safe and welcomed.

We only stayed one night, it was perfect for our needs.

I took bus 6 from downtown Subotica to my place, and after a short walk down from the bus stop, there was a place to stay. The lawn and garden in front of the accommodation were beautifully manicured, and the beautiful Palich Lake was also a 5-minute walk away. It was the May Labor Day holiday, so I could hear the singing of the surrounding amusement park until night, but it was quiet from about 12pm until morning, so it didn't interfere with sleeping. It was a satisfying stay.

A nice, quiet location. Good starting point for the sights of the surrounding area. We felt completely comfortable. Thanks for the drinking water until the fountain work was completed.

I must say it was the best vacation we have ever booked through Airbnb. The private pond is very special, which we also used every day. In addition, there is a real pool. I also found the herd of sheep to the neighboring property, which you could pet. Furthermore, there are 4 cats on the property, so if you have children, there is always one to play. Very good Hungarian restaurants are nearby, which are great value for money. The hosts Susann, Othmar and Tibor are super nice, know each other and try to make everything possible. I recommend having a trip organized by carriage. Here you are guided by a local through forests and the children are even allowed to steer themselves. Overall, I highly recommend the hosts and the property.

If you like getting away from the everyday hustle and bustle and relax in a quiet and peaceful environment, this is the perfect place for you! Birdsong , the smell of wildflowers and the countryside make your experience perfect as well as the attentive hosts that Susanne & Othmar are. The accommodation was spotless and we had a very nice time. Will definitely return. Thank you! 💚
