Super Unterkunft, hat alles was man braucht. Checkin und Checkout waren super unkompliziert. Die Apartments liegen sehr ruhig direkt neben einem kleinen Campingplatz und Golfplatz. Wir konnten das ganze Städtchen zu Fuß gut erkunden. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt!

This apartment in Grundafjördur was incredible! It was much bigger than we expected and very clean. The view out back was incredible and it was very close to Kirkjufell, which was stunning. It was difficult to find a place on the Snaefullsness peninsula, but I am very glad we found Gréta's apartment as it was a great place to stay to end our trip. Thank you for hosting us!

The Writer´s Nest. First floor 2-bedroom apartment

The Writer´s Nest apartments are located in the center of Grundarfjörður near the harbour. The apartments are close to all major amenities with only 2 minutes walk to the local supermarket, drug store and liquor store. Few minutes walk to the harbour and seaside and a variety of restaurants. The house is surrounded by a garden and trees with a view over the mountain range. Græna kompaníið café is located on the ground floor. Signý and Lilja are the owners of the Writer´s Nest and the café.

A very convenient, clean, easy to find place in the beautiful little oceanside town of Stykkisholmur! Very quiet, great walking areas, very close to the harbour and gerry. We loved it! Olafur was excellent with instructions too! Thank you!

Das war ein richtig gutes Zuhause für unsere Zeit am Kirkjufell! Die Wohnung ist ganz neu und tatsächlich noch schöner, als sie auf dem Bildern aussieht. Die Aussicht aus dem Wohnzimmer und dem Schlafzimmer ist traumhaft! Tatsächlich ist das ein Ein-Raum-Apartment, hell, geräumig, sehr freundlich, gemütliches Bett, sehr gut ausgestattet. Uns hat nichts gefehlt und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Very convenient location for exploring the Snæfellsness Peninsula. Since you can park right outside the front door, moving in is easy. The host responded quickly to any concerns. The only drawback is that the shower wall doesn’t extend far enough, resulting in a wet bathroom floor.

We had a lovely stay at Inga's place. The apartment is in a great location with fantastic views of the ocean. Host showed us the apartment and personally checked us in. Host has a lovely personality. We felt totally at home and had a nice relaxing sleep. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and rooms were clean. We would totally recommend this location as well as would love to stay here again!

The views are great! We stayed for 2 nights, it's self check-in thus very convenient. The house has everything you need and we could go for walks and drive around the peninsula. The kitchen got very crowded in the morning though I have to admit. And the AirBnB was not fully booked. Just keep that in mind.

Absolutely wonderful accommodation! Easy access to the store and harbor. Very easy to find. Plenty of space for our entire family of 5. We cooked dinner and had everything we needed and the washer and dryer were a lifesaver after a day of exploring and being out on the water. Would definitely recommend!
