Alex’s home was a vintage design beauty! You could tell how much thought and detail he put into his home. The amenities were wonderful, including a gorgeous living room, great sound system, well-stocked kitchen, outdoor wood burning chimney, BBQ, and bucolic tree-surrounded hot tub (which we loved). But the best part was Alex himself. What a nice guy! He welcomed us at check-in with delicious freshly baked sourdough bread and homemade ginger cookies later in our stay. He also gave us fantastic advice on things to do in the area. Overall, you’ll love this home nestled in the CT woods!

We stayed at Lakeside Landing with our 1 year old to enjoy Father’s Day weekend in the Mystic area. This place was perfect to enjoy a fire by the lake, watch the deer and other wildlife, and spend a few cozy evenings snuggled up in the living room. Everything was perfect!

The place is overall awesome - just don’t miss the fact there isn’t air conditioning - I didn’t notice that in the listing, and there happened to be a hot day. The hot tub isn’t quite private. One set of neighbors or folks turning down the side road can see you. However, it was very comfortable, especially on a cool evening.

Michelle's Hilltop Cabin in Chesterfield, MA, is a wonderful place. Nestled in the Berkshire woods, but close to the road, and not far from civilization, this place has all the best western Massachusetts has to offer. 11 miles (15 minutes) to Snow Farm (Williamsburg) 17 miles (28 minutes) to downtown Northampton 23 miles (36 minutes) to UMass Amherst 31 miles (44 minutes) to Mass MOCA (North Adams) 32 miles (51 minutes) to Tanglewood (Lenox) The Hilltop Cabin is best for 2-3 people, but Michelle has several other rentals at the same address. See if she has openings to suit your party on your dates. You won't be disappointed!

Loved our time at the cabin as it was our second time here. Elevated camping at it's finest. My favorite part was sitting on the dock looking out at the river or sitting around the fire pit. Highly recommend this cabin.

Beautiful little cabin, peacefully in the woods. Great, friendly, and responsive hosts. Perfect location to relax, walk around, find closeby hikes and hidden gems, including some great breakfast spots. 10/10 would recommend.

Amanda and Jake were so nice with us, they helped us a lot with everything we needed and even more, the place was clean, and with everything we could need, we would love to come back in the future !!

Beautiful house, perfect for our family retreat. After another host cancelled on us last minute, we found Brian's place and were very happy we did! Brian was very responsive to our needs, and was very helpful throughout the weekend. the kids loved the game room, we set a new record on the Pacman machine. We made s'mores on the front porch in rainy weather, and visited some of the local breweries nearby. We were very pleased with the home, and it was perfect for our long weekend.

We were in town for 4 days and brought my dog along, and this cozy hideaway was the perfect nature escape with lots to do and see around the area!! Peaceful, beautifully tucked away, and just what we needed to unwind. Cori and Ruben were incredibly thoughtful hosts - welcoming, responsive, and full of great local tips PLUS you can book archery and other lessons with Ruben & more. Highly recommend for anyone looking to recharge in a serene setting

Amazing cabin!! My third visit. Was there with friends for fishing and I love the cabin so much that I booked my anniversary weekend and my wife is also in love with the property. Relaxing Birding Fishing Kayaking Fire pit Romantic This place has it all! Book it now! You won’t regret it!

What a wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary! The cabin was very homey, private and peaceful. We enjoyed the delicious coffee provided while sitting on the screen porch enjoying a spectacular view of the Berkshires. Watching the sunrise without having to get out of bed was a bonus! The cabin had everything we could have needed: kitchen items, bathroom supplies, brochures of places to visit and even a wonderful little shop to go out for breakfast and lunch less than 5 minutes away. We will definitely be returning.

Fabulous property, lots of peace and quiet in a pastoral setting. Being able to interact with the horses and cows was the highlight of our stay! The pool was clean and so nice and refreshing, perfect for taking a dip after a day of sightseeing in the area. Lots of coffee shops and ice cream shops nearby, something for everyone in the family! The host was very communicative and helpful. A 10/10 experience and we definitely would return!

It was a perfect price. With the ABNB it was double+. I would rather pay John more for the one night personally, than what I did. And have done twice. I have always left the place the same or better than I found it. I understand the cleaning fee, but kills single fathers like me for a 1 night trip. That being said. Walker cabin is great! Kayaks, all safety gear, fully outfitted down to toothpicks, brushes, floss, ect. You think you forgot it. It’s there. Baby monitors!

Grant's place is wonderfully comfortable, peaceful, and pleasant - very neat and clean with tasteful decor and furnishings. It was easy living there partly because it was so well supplied with all you might need. We particularly liked eating, socializing, and lounging on the deck. The location is great. It was a short drive to a number of lovely beaches. We definitely hope to vacation there again.

Great little bungalow perfect getaway for me and the wife paddle around the pond on the paddle boat. The only thing I was disappointed about is we specifically search for places that do not have recordings we value our privacy, was upsetting to see One when we walked up when it was listed to not have any.

My family and dog really enjoyed the cozy cabin. The yard is fun. While the stairs are challenging as described... it was also fun. While small, it has everything you need. as mentioned in other reviews, it is pretty close to the road. Our check-in with Lois was smooth and all the information we needed. it was great being able to walk over to the trail. Thank you so much.

The check-in process was so smooth and finding the place was super easy! The house was absolutely gorgeous and accommodating for us to stay the night. We wished we could have stayed to enjoy the amenities that were part of the campground! The location was perfect for us to be able to go to our concert the night of check in! We will definitely be back in our future travels!

The place was as described. It was very nice down to the detail of having lint removers for our clothes. The clothes washer and dryer were excellent. The only knives in the kitchen were steak knives. It was odd to not have any chef's knives to cut a watermelon with, etc. There was an infestation of ants in a window and the kitchen counter top when we checked in which was off putting. It was a joy to wake up to hens outside the glass doors but the rooster/s woke us up earlier than we set our alarms for. But that was fine. It was still a peaceful place.
