Chalet vacation rentals in Stowe

We had an awesome time at the Grünberg Haus. The decor was awesome and the hosts even better. We had a great time and would absolutely go back again. The common areas were among the most fun we’ve seen in a B&B. Duane and Leah are gracious and committed to being a top notch B&B and we are excited to going back and seeing how they continue to invest in the property.

We had a great time staying here! It’s a short walk up to the Timberline run, and very easy to ski all the way back to the house. The house felt cozy and comfortable with a big open kitchen/living room area that was perfect for our group. Would stay again!

A perfect location for a group of skiers/snowboarders since Sugarbush and Mad River Glen ski resorts are within a few minutes drive. The best restaurant in the area, Hyde Away, is just a block away. A unique place like you stepped back in time. All the beds were comfortable. Great having three bathrooms. Loved the foosball table! Again, great location for the area. We'll be back next ski season.

Annie was helpful and proactive from the minute we booked this home. She reached out to offer advice on finding the driveway, parking in icy conditions (which was worth its weight in gold) and left a check-in book full of instructions. The location is great with a stunning view of the mountains and just a 15 minute drive from Smuggler’s Notch. I would absolutely stay here again!

Cozy cottage with well appointed kitchen. Property manager Diane is very responsive. They are lucky to have her! Place was incredibly clean. Diane even called to offer us to come a day early to avoid the storm. When the storm foiled some of our plans she also offered to stay an extra night. Unfortunately the plow service did not come the AM after the storm and our 4 WD car couldn’t make it up the steep driveway. The wonderful neighbors even came to help but we all had to give up. The plow eventually came. I’m sure they were overworked the last 36 hours. Storm also kept chair lifts at Smuggs closed one day so we ended up making good use of the game room and kids - teens :) - actually loved playing in the snow in the yard. Would highly recommend - definitely make sure you have 4 WD and even consider chains if a storm is coming. Or just be prepared to hike the driveway (which isn’t a bad walk).

Seamless check in when we arrived. Everything was as advertised in the listing. Katy was a friendly and helpful host. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a place to stay in Stowe.

Me and my family of 4 loved the place it was a winter wonderland. tucked up I. the woods Roberts place was relaxing and restoring. many beautiful spots to visit around the area also. Thank you ver much for letting us enjoy your peacefulway place

This home is even better than the photos! Wendi is an incredible hostess who is responsive, flexible, and has incredible local knowledge. The house feels very homey and spacious for a group of 5 of us. The kitchen has everything needed for meals at home, but there are great walkable restaurants too. Everything was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very comfortable, nicely decorated and has great views of the mountain. We had everything we needed and the host was great about sending instructions and information well in advance. We will definitely be back!

We had a perfect girls weekend in Stowe. The house is beautiful and had absolutely everything we needed - all the supplies we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms and then some. Each of the hair dryers in the bathrooms also had diffusers! As someone with curly hair, I appreciated that so much, no one ever provides that. Plenty of space to hang out, hot tub and fire pit were awesome.

Daisy's place was perfect for a ski getaway at sugarbush (a quick 15min drive, mostly via back roads to the resort). The home had everything we needed especially for cooking including lots of spices and a hot chocolate mix station. All of the beds were comfortable, the place was easy to keep warm, and the location in the garage for our ski gear was perfect. Any and all questions we had were promptly answered by Daisy and we will definitely stay here again. The listing mentioned requiring 4 wheel/all wheel drive, but I will also add that having high clearance was helpful. The road to the place is unpaved and, when it gets warm (which was the case for us on the first day), gets very bumpy and soft. We had no trouble getting here and Daisy did mention the road was unpaved (nothing uncommon in VT) but just wanted to reiterate for those not expecting it

Ross was both friendly and accommodating, the flexibility with check-in/check-out was highly appreciated. It took a little bit of time to coordinate this trip for a group of 12, but his patience made it a stress-free experience. The property itself was 100% as-described, the only surprise was how little justice a photo does it. The chalet and yard were beautiful and our group had an amazing time - highly recommend

Instructions were clear and the house was ready for our group on time. It was a great location for what we were looking for and everything we needed within 10-15 minutes. Perfect for our group.

Adam’s place was perfect for our family ski weekend. Firstly, Adam was incredibly responsive before and during our stay- providing us with details about the space as well as helping to facilitate when we needed to make changes to our plans. The house was charming and cozy and perfectly located a short walk from the snowflake trail for access to the mountain. The fireplace was so cozy after long days of cold runs!
