Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Stor-Elvdal

We arrived at the accommodation near evening, the path near the room is very beautiful, next to the room is the forest and farm, you can enjoy the whole house.We needed some condiments, the Host helped us as much as possible, and there were cute puppies and kittens.We are happy.I hope I have the chance to stay longer.

The cabin is a beautiful spot on earth with a fantastic view. With the two stoves you can create a nice cozy warm cabin, especially when it's bitterly cold outside. We were -18 degrees. The icing on the cake of our stay was the aurora lights we were allowed to see. The proximity to the ski slope was very convenient for us. We were very happy that we did not have to use our snow chains and our car with the good winter tires always made the mountain effortlessly despite snow and ice smoothness.

Our Third Trip, We love the place and feel that we are entering the home of a family that has spent years adding to such a traditionally Norwegian mountain retreat. The drive to Skeikampen is wonderful and we love the fact that a new supermarket has opened in Skeikampen. The Neighbour is so knowledgeable on local wildlife and is ever happy to share with us his insights. This place is a rare find and highly recommended. Tony O'Dea

We rented Marthe and her family's house when we visited Hunderfossen. The house had everything we needed and it was absolutely great for our kids who could borrow toys and play outside in the garden. It was tidy and clean when we arrived. Bed linen was put on and towels available. There was a clear space for us to use the fridge, drawers and hooks. We were lucky with the weather and therefore got to take advantage of the evening sun with barbecue on the porch. We bought the food at Kiwi which was a stone's throw away. We are very happy with our stay, and with Marthe who has been available on message. Thank you for us and for the loan of the great house! We would love to come again!

Very nice house that matched the description. Plenty of space, well-equipped, clean, and with great views of the mountains on both sides. Good beds. Close to the ski port location and shopping. Good, welcoming, and quick communication with the host. We would highly recommend staying with Tom and would like to come back.

We enjoyed our stay at Inger's house. It is very spacious, well furnished and very clean. The kitchen is very tidy and there is everything you need. The house has a large garden with a playhouse, which has made our children very happy. Parking was available right in front of the house on the premises. Inger sent a lot of information in advance about things to do in the area and was always easily accessible. Everything was perfect and we recommend this place, especially for families. Thank you!

We will stay here again! A ☺️ family with 2 children + two grandparents visited the place for a weekend. Nice welcome, beautiful views, quiet area. Clean and nice and everything we needed! ☺️ Only 15 min from Hunderfossen, so it was perfect for us ☺️

the landlord was very quick to respond to all requests. good info about check in and how to get around. Recommend parking in the garage right under the apartment. The apartment was very nice. Here everything was clean and tidy, and fully functioning kitchen with both fridge and freezer plus washing machine. Here you have ski slopes and nature right outside the door. In addition, there is a restaurant with varied and good food, as well as a grocery store and sports shop, all of which are open 7 days a week( at least during our visit in early April). the apartment is small, but everything you need if you are 1-2 people. 😀 dice 6 from us♥️

Lovely place that feels like home, the beds where very comfortable. We had a little problem but Roger helped us out. We would recommend this place to everyone.

Very cozy and modern apartment that was within walking distance to the ski slope, as we imagined because we were there on the sports holiday for skiing. From the apartment we had a wonderful view out over the village and mountains! Perfect driving distance and nice roads from Gothenburg. We would be glad to come back!

A beautiful and peaceful place, we would have liked to enjoy it in dry weather... Friendly and warm hosts, who showcase Norwegian traditions and culture. A place to recommend!

Had a wonderful stay at Hafjell. This apartment, and the host, really delivered great! Stian was quick and gave absolutely all the information we needed. the apartment was in perfect condition and it was very clean. Had absolutely all the equipment we needed. The location can't be better at Hafjell! Perfect location! So overall very happy with the stay 🙂🥳

Super nice apartment and short distance by car to Hunderfossen which was the destination of the trip. Good communication both before and during the stay. Both adults and children enjoyed themselves, and appreciated nice walks in the local area.
