Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Stoney Lake

This was without a doubt the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever been in! It was such a beautiful space. The view was unmatched and there was lots of room for all of us! We definitely plan on going back during summer months. May long weekend this year wasn’t warm and we would have loved to enjoy sitting out on that dock. Will definitely be returning!

We rented this place for a family wedding and it was great. Our kids LOVED the arcade machines, the decor was lovely, and the beds were very comfortable. We also loved the location - we could walk to everything!

Tanya and Peter were very responsive and their place is so lovely! So peaceful! They really have thought of everything. Thank you very much! Would recommend to couples looking to have a unique place to stay and just have time together.

The rental place is clean and well organized. Nina is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The place was immaculate with thoughtful touches in every corner, clearly a lot of care and attention to detail went into making it feel like a home away from home. One of the highlights was the complimentary tin of maple syrup tapped right from the trees on the property, truly the best we’ve ever had! The location is surrounded by beautiful nature with plenty of hiking trails accessible right from the property. Lori was an exceptional host; warm, welcoming, and incredibly hospitable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thank you again for everything, couldn’t recommend this place enough!

We had a lovely stay at Braden’s place. The home was a perfect gateway for 2 people. Big plus for having plenty of firewood for the guests to use. The home was clean & had all the amenities for a great relaxing stay.

Ryan is without a doubt a great host. I had an issue and I contacted him before 9am on a Saturday morning and he responded within minutes. He was always available to help out and is very caring. His home is just beautiful. The pictures I took of the lake reflect the beauty of the place and the cottage is very peaceful and it’s indeed a great place to unplug but don’t worry because there is wifi and the phone reception is very good as well. My family and I really enjoyed our time there. Thank you Ryan for making this an unforgettable trip for us!

Mitch’s place was perfect for our vacation! It’s in a peaceful area right off of a main road and the property itself feels very private. There’s plenty of amenities to enjoy like the theater, pool table, fire pit, and hot tub which was great especially on colder nights! Everything was very clean and we felt right at home. There is a railroad right across the street but it didn’t bother us in the slightest so I wouldn’t stress about it. We’re very light sleepers, too, and didn’t wake up to any trains at all throughout the week. Most of the trains that pass through are quite quiet anyways. If anything, it adds to the experience! Great stay & definitely would love to return in the future!

Such a lovely spot. The views of the golf course and the natural light were magnificent. The space is tastefully decorated and very clean. The bed is comfortable.

I am working on Stoney Lake for another year and Owen's place is always my go-to! The Airbnb has an extremely large parking area for my large trucks, boats, and other equipment. It is always a pleasure to visit with the hosts and to enjoy the peaceful surroundings that their property offers. I highly recommend this Airbnb to families, contractors, and anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the Kawartha's.

Derek and Doreen were extremely friendly, responsive, and hospitable, everything in the suite and in the backyard was as shown, if not better. They even gave us a gift as we had mentioned our wedding day was the day prior, couldn’t recommend them and this place enough, we would book again in a heart beat, thanks for everything Derek and Doreen!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Simona’s place! The property was beautiful with serene lake access, and the two decks made our evening hangouts especially comfortable and enjoyable. The house was well-equipped with all the amenities we needed for a stress-free and relaxing stay. Simona was incredibly kind and welcoming, and she went out of her way to make our visit comfortable, especially with our infant. Her thoughtfulness and hospitality truly made a difference. Thank you, Simona, for a memorable experience — we’d love to return!

Anuhea's space is very cozy and inviting. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you may need. The outdoor space is beautiful - You forget you're in the city. The location is awesome, quiet neighborhood but just minutes from downtown. Her instructions to get to the Airbnb space was spot on! I also had the chance to chat with Anuhea and she is just a lovely person. Also, they have the fluffiest, friendliest outdoor cat that is sure to great you upon arrival. Eugene was the best welcome-wagon I've ever had lol.

Wonderful hosts with outstanding HOT homemade breakfasts! Really appreciated the extra perks of magnifier make-up mirror, house coat, lush towels, several Keurig coffee pod choices and 2 choices for my own private exterior sitting area. Level access and close parking to entrance, extra wide interior doors. MaryAnn was spot on for my food choices even including 10% cream for my morning coffee and crisp bacon. Very large space with two large bedrooms, slept like a baby and the TV included all the streaming you would want Close to Art College and short drive into town of Haliburton. It was a bit chilly for June but Gerry turned on the propane fireplace then all was cozy. Book it - you won't be disappointed!

Florenzo was very responsive and his home was exceptionally clean and unique, with everything I needed for a very comfortable stay. I also enjoyed reading the building’s interesting history.

Very cozy cabin. Has everything you could need, all what you have to bring is your clothings. We even had the chance to taste their homemade maple syrup! Close enough to Bancroft but still tranquil, nobody can access the cabin but you. We saw people stopping by on the otherside of the lake but it feels OK and not invading, it is far enough to not care. Wildlife was abundant. We did not have much mosquitoes or annoying bugs outside and literally none inside. We went there as a couple with a dog and, once used to the space the cabin offers, did not feel squeezed, although it is not huge. Hosts were very kind and responsive. If you like small, serene and cozy places, this is a must try.

What a little slice of heaven Finn and Trudy have to offer their guests. From the moment of booking we received amazing communication that both prepped and informed us of our upcoming visit. Local restaurants, activities in the area, direction to the location as well as check in instructions, Upon arrival we were greeted by Finn who was ever so kind and took a moment to show us the cottage we would be staying in. It was apparent right away that if we needed anything there would be no hesitation. The cottage was stalked with all little things that make you feel at home as well as extras such as milk, cream, condiments and spices. There is even a Keurig, coffee pods and tea available :) The beds we cozy. Nicely made with comfortable bedding and pillows and the bathroom had towels, face cloths, toothpaste. soap, shampoo, q-tips and make up pads. We were thoroughly impressed with all the fine details and extras that Finn offers his guests. This is our favorite place we have ever stayed!

We had a great time with our families during the May long weekend. The location is very beautiful and a rare find.. The theme is well laid out and rooms are in excellent condition 👍🏼 Would definitely love to visit again.

John and Beth’s cabin exceeded every expectation! From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were staying in back home where we used to go when we are younger rather than just booking an Airbnb. The cabin itself is stunning—beautifully maintained, cozy, and equipped with everything you could possibly need with comforts of home. But what really made this stay special was John and Beth themselves. They struck the perfect balance of being incredibly welcoming and helpful while still giving us our space to enjoy the getaway. The location is perfect for a peaceful retreat, and we loved every minute of our weekend here. Can’t wait to explore more of what the area has to offer with John and Beth as our guides. If you’re looking for more than just a place to stay if you want an experience that feels like visiting family this is it. We can’t recommend John and Beth highly enough!

Christine’s place was absolutely beautiful and literally perfect for a cottage long weekend. the pictures don’t even do it justice. the dock out looked such a beautiful lake, great for water activities!! the beds worked out perfectly for 5 people, thought u could definitely fit 7, maybe 8. the kitchen was equipped with quite enough, and the bathroom had sanitary products which was so convenient. there’s also a soft tub which was super warm and so relaxing, and an entire bar room with darts overlooking the water! we had so so so much fun here and it was seriously such a beautiful cottage, don’t let the lack of reviews fool you!! absolutely loved this so much:)

This was our 4th time here! It just gets better and better! The upgrades are great. Example new bed and fountain in the pond 😊 The farm animal sounds and the birds singing add to the atmosphere! The stream is always the highlight for us! Our souls are recharged and our dogs are happily exhausted! Don’t forget to try their peach jam!! 😊
