Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Starved Rock State Park

Very walkable and had everything we needed. Nice to have a coffee shop and jimmy John’s next door. Host were very accommodating to make sure our toddler had a pack-and-play to sleep in, and were quick to respond to all communication.

Great apartment in a walkable location. Ryan and Matt have created really comfortable and clean accommodations in a lovely neighborhood. We will definitely stay there again and I am recommending to family & friends in the area.

I enjoyed my stay at the Airbnb because everything was organized, clean and free of clutter. I enjoyed relaxing in the living room during the day because it was a comfortable space with the variety of tea in the cart. There was plenty of closet space, which was nice for organizing my clothes in, so I can readily find what I needed. So, overall it was a comfortable and inviting space.

Very clean and close to plenty of restaurants down town. I will gladly stay there again when I am in town for work. This was way better than staying at a hotel and the owners were very accommodating.

Fiancé and I were in town for work. Convenient location, good price, not to far from job site, and was easy to get to. Would stay again if in town.

The entire building is very clean, from the entrance to the actual unit. Debra was easily contacted and responded quickly. The train sounds it horn at crossings and the unit is near the crossing, it is loud and it vibrates the unit. We weren’t really bothered by this or missed sleep because of it. This is our second time staying at this listing and would stay again if needed.

Place was exactly as advertised. Small but it was only me staying in town for work. Laura was very responsive and outgoing and routinely checked in with me throughout my stay. All in all great place great stay great host

Comfortable bed, great shower, very clean. Had all conveniences for a short or longer stay. There is a peaceful riverfront park just two blocks from the apartment. a wonderful pizzeria, Molly's, and coffee shop, Nat's, just a five minute walk from the apartment

Great one night stay for two adults and a teen - and would happily choose for a longer stay if we’re back in Ottawa. The place was super clean, comfy furniture, updated and well decorated. Within blocks of great restaurants and a grocery store just down the street. Area felt very safe and peaceful.

This was one of the best stays my family and I have had! The barn itself is beautiful, but what my boys enjoyed the most was the property. We got lucky with a beautiful 50° December day. We walked the trails, threw rocks in the pond and went on scavenger hunts. Highly recommend staying here!

This was one of the best air bnbs we have stayed at. Extremely clean and very peaceful location. We had everything we needed! Our children appreciated the toys and the playset in the backyard. Only 15 min drive to starved rock. Lots of great restaurants and parks in Ottawa. Jennifer is a great host and we will definitely be back! Would 100% recommend!

We loved the place. House is big and has many rooms. Lot of games to play while staying. Location is easy to find and close to everything. Love the backyard. Would love to come back again.

We enjoyed our week stay in Lacon, IL. It is a quaint small town on the IL River. The house has 2 stories with 3 generous sized bedrooms (no TV’s) on the 2nd floor and 1 bath (bath tub/shower combo). There is plenty of closet space with shelves and hanging area (no dressers). The beds, pillows and linens are super comfy!!! There is a first floor bath with a smaller walk-in shower, as well as a wash and dryer in a large separate room which could serve as a bedroom if there was an airbed or sofa bed. The kitchen had all the amenities like a Keurig duo coffee maker, microwave deluxe gas stove, french door refrigerator, toaster, dishwasher, dishes and pots and pan. There was also an outdoor gas grill which we did not use. The back of the house features a large wood deck that is older and has a rectangular table with 6 chairs. The basement was locked and not accessible. Plenty of parking for 3 vehicles if needed. The leather furniture was clean with surface scratches. Large TV with wifi.

This place has everything I was looking for. Tyler and his family met us at check in and were very friendly. My parents drove in from Arizona with their trailer and Tyler was nice enough to let them park it on the property for the duration of the stay. Even with the trailer, there was still a ton of land for their two large dogs and our little dog to run around and enjoy themselves. The hot tub and fire pit area were great and they even left a huge bundle of wood for us to use.The house was immaculate and decorated nicely. The house has a lot of history that you can read about in one section of the house. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and plenty of dishes, glasses, coffee mugs and silverware. The dishwasher made clean up easy. The dining room had a large table where we enjoyed all our family meals. There is a washer and dryer that we used while there that was very convenient. In all The whole house/land was very clean, private and spacious. Highly recommended.

Very cute, clean and comfortable! Had everything we needed. Love the location-very close to Starved Rock and Matthiessen which was our reason to be in Ottawa. Hosts sent a guide of things to do in the area and now we plan to come back! Loved the information they provided. Excellent communication and instructions. Highly recommend!

My family and I stayed for a long weekend while visiting some local state parks. The house was within 15 minutes of the two parks we visited. Upon arriving, we found the house clean, inviting, and very well stocked with all the supplies you could need. The back porch was a very relaxing spot where we spent our afternoons. The recreation room was a huge hit with the kids also! We would recommend this house with five stars and would stay again!

What a great place to base our fun filled area activities! This condo was super clean and beautifully decorated. We love the rooftop terrace and the bedrooms were super comfortable. if you're staying in the Ottawa area, you must stay here and visit all the wonderful places that surround it. We would love to come back again!

Great stay at this peaceful property on Lisbon Road. The house was clean, spacious, and had all the essentials for a comfortable visit. The rural setting was quiet and relaxing, yet still close enough to town for convenience. The host was friendly and responsive, making check-in easy and stress-free. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet getaway near Morris!

Had a great stay in this lovely home! Just as described in the listing. Now knowing the location and proximity to the marina, restaurant, beach, may have chosen a different location in the community, but overall enjoyed the house and amenities the community had to offer. We did rent a golf cart last minute, and unfortunately had issues with the battery dying and had to push it back to the unit. Some friendly people in the area saw our trouble and came to help. The office was very responsive with our issue and offered other solutions which we were very happy with. The only suggestion we would have would be more chairs available to sit outside. Given the number of people the house could accommodate, outside seating was very limited. The only negative we encountered were ants in the kitchen (something sticky in the cabinet that they were after) and an area in front hallway near the main floor bathroom. Would definitely consider a repeat visit for a family gathering at some po
