The apartment was renovated according to ecological renovated from an ecological point of view and has an ingenious indoor climate (clay walls, solid wood floors). It is quietly located and only the sound of the Werra can be heard when the windows are open and lulls you to sleep. From all windows, the apartment offers fantastic views of the Werra/bridge or the old town. The rooms are lovingly furnished. Our vacation home is a spacious forester's house on more than 2300 square meters of land, which offers plenty of comfort. Behind the historic facade are four bedrooms, three modern bathrooms, a guest toilet and a bright country kitchen. In the spacious living and dining area with fireplace or the sauna, you can relax wonderfully. In summer, our swimming pool invites you to refresh yourself. The house offers a spacious outdoor area with several terraces and teak furniture as well as sun loungers.

House on two levels on our farm. First floor: Equipped kitchen. In the living room there is a couch (fold-out), a dining table, TV and a wood-burning stove for cold winter days and a bathroom with shower. The bedroom is reached via a ladder. A large bed (180 × 200) and a normal bed (90 × 200) as well as another bathroom with a bathtub are available. In front of the house is a construction site. Parking in front of the main house, Wi-Fi and satellite TV available. No dogs allowed!

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning oven, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on our property. Next to the house is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist! Adventure instead of luxury.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.
