Vacation rentals with a fireplace in St. Louis County

This is the second time we have stayed at Susan’s place, and it was for a reason. Our first experience was exceptional- and this one was no different. Susan’s home is exactly as the pictures show, and maintained extremely well. There is absolutely no clutter. The home is exceptionally comfortable and in a really quiet neighborhood which is also very walkable. Susan and her team are also very responsive to any questions. I would stay there again for sure! This is a great Airbnb experience!

Absolutely perfect stay! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. The host, Marie, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, providing helpful recommendations. Marie made Christmas truly special for our family. The communication was seamless, and check-in/out was a breeze. The location was ideal – peaceful yet close to everything we wanted to explore. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

This was much bigger inside than it looked from the street. We were concerned about parking as we had 3 vehicles in our group but there was enough parking on the street. Cute, unique house and we are already talking about how we would stay there again. Literally within a couple blocks of Ted Drews Custard place, which we learned was very famous there. So of course we went there, twice. Good location. GPS had us in an alley but you don't have to go that way. It is a dead end street and in a rustic, older, nice neighborhood. Bedroom arrangements were exactly what we needed. She responded quickly and reached out to us with info. You'll like it. It seemed like a quiet area while we were there.

Amie has done a darling job decorating with whimsical touches. Loved it was easy walking to City Grill and Grand Pied. (Note to others- Grand Pied opens at 9 am and can have people waiting to get in). The sofa bed folds out to a sleeper bed and our granddaughter slept all night!

This was a dream! My whole family fit comfortably, it was centrally located, clean and the hosts were immediately responsive to questions. I loved the little coffee bar area. I also appreciated they had water and iced tea bottles waiting for us. We will definitely be utilizing this again!

Would highly recommend and would stay again at JaRen's. Only hiccup was the cleaning wasn't ready when we were there to check-in (the scheduled cleaner became ill), so we were asked to wait another half-hour. Just had to kill extra time. A small issue that is unlikely to happen again to another customer.

This home has a great location in a quiet and very safe feeling neighborhood and had plenty of space for our party of 9. Pros: having an enclosed back patio space for our toddler to run off energy, a great layout of bedrooms and bathrooms for families, a kitchen with all of the utensils and cookware we needed. The space was lovely, with lots of natural light and the most beautiful tree outside. I do wish I'd read the reviews more carefully, because this place was not friendly to people with mobility issues. We traveled with my parents who struggled with the amount of stairs, especially the front stairs which do not have handrails all the way. We also wished that there was more seating in the living room and that the furniture was more comfortable. The sofa was small and low backed. The garage was tricky to pull in and out of in a minivan, and we eventually gave up and parked on the street. Raj was friendly, helpful, quick to respond, and overall we would stay again.

This was a great place! Older building so the stairways could be loud if a lot of traffic, but minimal while we were here. The bathroom was small, as other reviews noted, but the place in all is very spacious! Mattresses very comfortable!! We loved the proximity to downtown as well as the zoo and other attractions— hosts were proactive and responsive! Extremely enjoyable stay :)

Joe's place was spotless and roomy. The high ceilings and sliding wooden doors are beautiful. We had everything we needed!

The place was extremely clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. The place was extremely comfortable, well let and I felt safe. Latisha was great at communicating the entire time.

We were originally booked for another Airbnb that canceled on us the same morning we were on the way. Hui accepted our request last minute, had everything ready by the time we arrived even with having another guest leaving the same day. She responded quick, called us to communicate about the air - which was perfect by the way! The place was clean, instructions clear coming & going. The neighborhood was good & within drivable distant to everything.

Great place! We loved our stay and had no issues. Plenty of space and Jose was very nice and communicative. Will stay here again next time we are in St. Louis!

great place to crash for a few days, as listing mentions anybody over 6’2 may find themselves a tiny bit uncomfortable since you have to duck the head down a littleeee bit to get through main entry and into bedroom (you’re in a basement, cozy and safe during tornado warnings) hosts also are very considerate in keeping upstairs noise to a minimum
