Property was clean! The hosts were helpful and provided clear instructions on how to access the property.

we had a great vacation - my husband and 2 kids. we enjoyed the space and had everything we needed. we enjoyed being able to walk down to the lake. we sat on the deck, played games at the kitchen eat in counter. watched TV and relaxed/slept on extremely comfortable beds. it was a very quiet location even surrounded by other houses. it was close by to many of our trip highlights including the sandy bottom park, Naples pizza, red cat winery, lynnie lous ice cream and the Corning museum. would recommend this place to future families looking for a place to stay.

Pete’s place was perfect for our short stay to attend a concert at CMAC nearby. Home had plenty of space, was very clean, and had everything we needed. Pete was an excellent host, very attentive and friendly! We would definitely book again for a future concert.

Absolutely loved our stay! The property boasts a stunning view and easy access to the water. The living space was spotless, tidy, and very comfortable. We enjoyed the private rear yard with its wonderful amenities, including a beautiful dock, BBQ, and patio area. It's also conveniently close to grocery stores. Brad and Kim were incredibly responsive and super helpful. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

Our stay was absolutely excellent. The house is stunning and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need. It truly felt like a home away from home—we never found ourselves missing anything or needing to reach out to the host for extra items. We spent most of our time enjoying the spa-like amenities: the wood sauna, hot tub, and ending our evenings with refreshing cold plunges in the lake followed by bonfires. It was the perfect way to unwind and relax. Communication with Katherine was seamless; she responded promptly and clearly to all our pre-arrival questions, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The location is ideal, with restaurants and grocery stores just a short 10-minute drive away. I highly recommend this property for families or groups looking for a peaceful, well-appointed, and conveniently located retreat in Port Colborne.

Beautiful lake view. Our weather was not as nice as I hoped but we were able to sit outside and enjoy the water view for some of our stay. Nice to sit in the dining room and look out the large windows with a cup of coffee. Cheryl was very responsive to any questions we had. I imagine the landscaping is beautiful in the summer. We were visiting just as spring was starting so nothing lush or green yet.

This was excellent value, a beautiful lake view and an amazing primary suite. This house was perfect for 7 adults for a long weekend away. Would recommend and would definitely stay again

Our family of 10 adults and 2 children had a wonderful time at Matt’s lake house. The home was well equipped and comfortable. We greatly enjoyed the outdoor seating, pool, hot tub, yard and lake. The large kitchen was great and had everything we needed to cook our meals. We loved the secluded, quiet location and the eagles. . We enjoyed a day trip to Niagara on the lake and Niagara Falls. Thanks for a great week.

Best rental we’ve had at Sherkston. Super clean and cute space with a to die for view. We loved it!

Linda’s place was very nice. Better than the pictures show. We were 8 people and were very comfortable. What a view of the water. Would definitely return to stay here.

Mandy’s place and Sherkston Shores are amazing! Mandy was so responsive and made everything easy about our stay! The cottage is beautiful, steps from the beach, and has everything you’d ever need! We will be back!

Our two families - 4 adults, 5 teenagers - spent a week here. The accommodations are absolutely lovely. We woke up to a gorgeous view of the lake every morning and enjoyed the beach, the pool, and the hot tub. The kids loved the game room! And the casita is steps away from the main house; we felt no security concerns with having three of our children sleep there. While facing the lake, the home is backed by private woods and a long drive. The adults enjoyed walking/running both on the shore front and on the nearby Friendship Trail - a paved path through the woods. The Falls were a 30 minute drive, Niagara-on-the-Lake and the wine region were a 40 minute drive, and we also took the GO train to Toronto and spent a day there. Otherwise, we lounged at home. And on those days, BBQ enthusiast Brad Billard at cnddrumsmokerandco cooked for us, recommended by our host, Teri. His meals were delicious! We recommend the smoked brisket and the pork ribs. All in all, a winner of a property!

Terri and Theo are top-notch hosts—super friendly, responsive, and accommodating. The cottage is beautifully designed with thoughtful details throughout. Great layout, stylish decor, spotless, and fully stocked with everything you might need. The outdoor space is stunning! We had our own private area with a dining table, BBQ, lounge seating, and a gas fire pit. We were also welcome to use the rest of the patio, which included more seating and loungers—all incredibly clean and well-kept. It really is like a little resort! The pool is gorgeous and just steps from the back door. Prefer the beach? Just a few steps past the yard and your toes are in the sand! It’s so private and peaceful, you’d never guess you are only minutes from anything you could possibly need! Many thanks to Terri and Theo for the chance to experience this little slice of paradise—truly a gem!

Beautiful home! Spacious and comfortable! Backyard was completely fenced in, and the neighborhood was quiet! The kitchen had almost every type of appliance and utensil that you would want for a “staycation!” The hot tub was also delightful and well maintained! And plenty of towels! We look forward to coming in the summer

We loved our stay! The house is absolutely beautiful and looks even better than the pictures. The location is ideal because you are right on the beach and you can easily walk into town which we took advantage of. Our family of 5 (3 young children) had the best time. We have already booked another stay for 2026. Coco was extremely responsive and answered any questions I had within minutes. Book! You will not be disappointed!

What a little slice of heaven Finn and Trudy have to offer their guests. From the moment of booking we received amazing communication that both prepped and informed us of our upcoming visit. Local restaurants, activities in the area, direction to the location as well as check in instructions, Upon arrival we were greeted by Finn who was ever so kind and took a moment to show us the cottage we would be staying in. It was apparent right away that if we needed anything there would be no hesitation. The cottage was stalked with all little things that make you feel at home as well as extras such as milk, cream, condiments and spices. There is even a Keurig, coffee pods and tea available :) The beds we cozy. Nicely made with comfortable bedding and pillows and the bathroom had towels, face cloths, toothpaste. soap, shampoo, q-tips and make up pads. We were thoroughly impressed with all the fine details and extras that Finn offers his guests. This is our favorite place we have ever stayed!

We had a great time here! Chris gave us incredible food and activity recommendations making our stay extremely worthwhile. He was responsive and helpful throughout the entire weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here- the views were incredible, the dock was so peaceful, and we loved having access to a fire pit. The driveway is pretty steep, required to walk up/down to access the dock. Our stay was perfect, can't wait to return.

Really enjoyed our stay. Matt was very accommodating and communicative making our stay feel very smooth and simple. For cooking in or staying out all day coming back to the place was just nice and simple to go in and just relax. Just added to the relaxing atmosphere to have Matt proactively give us nearby recommendations to restaurants and fun attractions, how streamlined the entertainment system was inside and outside for viewing whatever we wanted, the drums and to talk to Matt and hear about the future plans to make the space even better. My recommendations currently would be making a path to the backyard so going to the hot tub and beach is more apparent, adding some form of light outside the main entrance for late night arrivals, and a place to put shoes and coats in the entrance area to avoid walking further inside and tracking dirt inside. Those recommendations aside really loved the space and definitely would stay again.

Everything about our weekend at ART CAMP was perfect. The home is a peaceful lakeside haven that managed to feel both inspiring and relaxing—a rare combo. Franky and his family have clearly poured heart into the space. It's not just a house; it’s an experience. The environment was thoughtfully eclectic in all the best ways—every corner sparked conversation or curiosity, yet nothing felt out of place. From the whimsical art touches to the tranquil lake views and bubbling hot tub, everything was designed with intention. Our kids absolutely loved the loft—it was their own little adventure hideaway. They were thrilled to have a space that felt just for them, and it added a whole new layer of fun to the stay. The check-in was smooth, the location serene, with great vibes all around. If you're looking for a creative recharge or simply a beautiful, restful space for your crew (kids included!), ART CAMP is truly a gem.

If you are looking for a local sweet spot with an amazing view and private beach, look no further. This cottage is the sweetest piece of local history made into a cozy respite with friendly neighbors. Breakfast on the deck overlooking the lake was incredible ! The cottage has everything you need and is in a great location to be on the lake and also visit Rochester and the surrounding areas. The bed, pillows, throw blankets are so comfortable and the electric fire on the wall for ambient light is a great touch! My daughter and I came for a girls getaway and next time we are in town, I hope this cottage is available so we can stay again!

What a dream location for our family to spend a week of relaxation and fun! The home was as beautiful in person as it was in the photos, and Paola was a lovely host. l Every last detail was thought of and truly made for such a memorable stay. We hope to return in the future!
