Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Spokane River

We had a wonderful stay in Spokane. The house is in a peaceful and nice part of town away from downtown. One of our party commented that it is better than a Marriott! I agree, from the well laid out kitchen to the clean bathrooms. This house just felt like home away from home. Oh, I must mention -- The beds are extremely comfortable to sleep on. So we all slept well. Even our children didn't fight. And that's saying something. The house can sleep many. If you have a large family or a small group of people this is a great place to stay in Spokane. I would certainly stay here again!

Large fully fenced back yard was invaluable . Very comfortable space with nice useable kitchen. Bedrooms were comfortable with nice bed linens. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing to take the dogs for a walk. Neighbors were very friendly. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We loved Jake’s place! It was much larger than in the pictures and very comfortable for our large family. Kids (and adults) enjoyed the pickleball and basketball court! Our dog loved the yard. We are already thinking about coming back. Thank you Jake!

Hilary’s place was great…. So spotless and darling! The yard worked fabulous for my dog he got the zoomies when we entered the yard and settled in. We would stay again!

We’ve stayed in a few Airbnb’s in Spokane and this is now our new favorite! Denise is a great host and her bungalow is charming and perfectly located to explore everything the South Hill neighborhood has to offer. It’s very cozy with lovely furnishings and everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are super comfy and we loved the downstairs room with big screen tv, puzzles and games. We’ll definitely plan to stay here again on our next visit!

Eliza is a great host, response times were often 5 minutes or less. The house has a lot of character, an older home with a distinct personality. I thought it was a little bigger than it looked in the photos. We had 8 people here and did not feel like we were tripping over each other. We enjoyed the front porch and also the back patio, the outdoor spaces were comfortable. It is only a short drive to downtown and yet the street was pretty quiet. The stairs leading to the basement (where there are 2 bedrooms) are narrow and may be difficult for the mobility impaired. Really, mostly pluses and not a lot of minuses. And any problems (minor) were adressed quickly.

Tom and Linda's place was perfect for my friend and I. The house is centrally located; close to restaurants and stores, and is also just a few minutes to the lake. The house is clean, charming, comfortable (mattresses were fantastic), and easy to feel at home. It was wonderful to have the air conditioning during the first two days of our stay because they were having abnormal high temps. The kitchen is well appointed for making any meal. Tom and Linda provided everything to make your stay comfortable!!! Thanks again!

Cute and cozy place for myself and 3 elementary age kids to stay. It was an easy walk to Triple Play fun park. Hannah does not skimp on supplies…there is detergent and softener in the laundry room, coffee grounds, creamer, and cocoa, and propane for the fire pit. Hannah is friendly and I truly believe she would do anything in her power to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

David’s place (the Regal Beagle) is awesome! We checked in at 9am and David was right there to welcome us and hand us the keys! There are some steep stairs to this apartment, but once we got up there, we were so impressed. The apartment is way bigger than we anticipated! The floor plan is very open, everything was very tidy and clean, and it had air conditioning which was blissful for staying in Spokane in June! My wife was also very appreciative of the “smoking balcony” provided out in the back of the apartment. We also got to meet David’s beautiful rescue dog, Ripley. What a sweet girl! An added bonus for us was that David is a musician, and as my wife and I are also musicians, we got to talk music during our interactions. As far as the rest of our stay went, the shower worked great, the toilet flushed, we had everything we needed in the kitchen, and the bed was comfortable. We will definitely be staying at David’s place in the future, if it is available. Thank you, David!

Our two-night stay at Leanne’s place was great! Easy check in and out. Beautiful apartment with very comfortable and quiet living spaces. Beds were comfortable and a/c kept temp at comfortable level. Lovely, full kitchen. Cooking items and cutlery provided were excellent…full set of good quality knives for food prep, cutting board, great quality pots and pans. Full size, in-unit laundry (w/d) available. Walking distance to an excellent grocery store (Huckleberry’s Natural Market) with good quality, healthy prepared food options as well as groceries (including skin care, supplements, bulk spices, etc.). We would definitely stay again.

We have stayed at Clint's place twice now and can highly recommend. It is cozy, has access to a garage space and is walkable to town while being only 25 minutes to the ski area. A go-to if you're visiting Sandpoint.

Such a great location—easy to come and go, and the house fits so naturally into its surroundings. It felt instantly comfortable, reminding us of a home we once lived in back in Spokane. Just what we were hoping for—perfect! The original wood floors, vintage window frames, and period-appropriate furniture all beautifully reflect the style and era of the home. Our host responded promptly when I asked about adjusting the water temperature, and even followed up later to make sure everything was just right. This is a charming older home—clean, well-kept, and full of character. We’d happily stay here again. Thank you!

This is a terrific Airbnb but two things really stand out: 1. it seems to have been designed with guests in mind. Everything is clean, new, clear, etc. Really lovely. 2. It is such a well-constructed place. Everything is solid, not flimsy. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Very nice place, great views of the water and mountains! Would stay here again! They mention this but I didn't notice it - this is not really a 5 bedroom place. One of the bedrooms is INSIDE another one, so you can't really use the bunkbed room as it's own space. Still has lots of beds though. The knives and pans should be replaced, like many rentals they are not in good shape.

We had such a blast!! The unit was so Much more than we expected. Our weather was very bipolar So it was such a treat To have an indoor an outdoor option to hang out. The cookware ....the furnishings and the bedding ....Down to the towels where all luxurious We enjoyed our daily interactions with the owners and can't wait to come back someday.

Beautiful Farm and scenery! Cassie was extremely flexible with our check in time. The house is very large and beautiful!
