Citycenter Historical Hotspot

Linda was a very kind host who always responded quickly to messages! It was noticed that she put a lot of effort into furnishing the apartment. The apartment is very quaint and cozy. You could not live more centrally in Alkmaar: shops, restaurants, etc. can be reached in less than 2 minutes. Unfortunately, the church tower clock strikes every quarter of an hour at night, which was a little difficult at night. Linda provided us with earplugs for this. But the beds were very cozy!
A welcoming living area features a cozy couch adorned with decorative cushions. A dining table with colorful chairs is positioned nearby. A light-colored staircase leads to a sleeping loft, while a flat-screen television is mounted on the wall, enhancing the space's functionality.

We were amazed by the environment where Arthur lives and the space was as described. Additionally, he helped us get to his house and also made his bicycles available to us to get to know the surroundings. We are leaving happy and will certainly recommend this place to friends. Thank you Arthur!!

Juffertje in het Groen

The accommodation was great, as described and in the pictures. We enjoyed it very much. Only the access road was officially closed and therefore we first had some problem to get to the hut. Nevertheless, we had a great place to stay and would come back at any time! Plus point: dogs allowed!
A wooden plaque displaying the text 'The Tiny Treasure' is mounted against a dark wooden backdrop. The surface of the sign shows a natural, rustic finish, with water droplets adding a fresh appearance.

The Tiny Treasure

JankaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Everything was exactly as described and maybe even better! The tiny house was neat, cozy and fully furnished. The bed was spacious and comfortable, with water in the background that created a relaxing atmosphere. The internet connection was excellent, ideal for working or streaming. We were received super friendly and flexible, which immediately provided a warm welcome. In the kitchen there was everything we needed, and as an extra plus we were allowed to use the sauna for free. The area is beautiful: quiet polders, morning and evening sun on the terrace, and nice cycling routes nearby. There is also something to discover culinary with wonderful restaurants nearby. Perfect for a few days of relaxation, and also very close to Amsterdam.
