Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Southern Oregon

Peaceful, quaint, nice views of the lake - just perfect. This place is more like a row of mini houses - unlike other places we stayed on this trip that were a guest house of someone's home or the lower level. The unit was perfect ! We thought we were getting a queen bed and we had a king. It was super comfortable! The pillows were perfect as well. We had a great patio, a view of the lake, nice privacy and a lovely all-around setting. Theresa was very friendly, saw us as we drove in and directed us to our home for the night. I saw there were row seat-boats (?)/peddle boats that you could take out onto the water. I can imagine how nice it will be during summer for those types of activities. I enjoyed a nice walk along the lake, then crossed the road to the paved walking trail. It was about a 1 hour drive to Crater Lake. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at this sweet little house on the Mackenzie River for 3 nights to attend my daughter’s graduation from UO. All local hotels were booked and airbnbs charged a fortune. Then I found this beautiful home, and I feel really lucky. Yes, it is a 45 minute drive from Eugene, but the location was beautiful and peaceful. The house was well stocked with everything you might need. It is located on the main highway, but once inside you hear the river not the car noise. I would definitely stay again. The deck, the yard, and the little beach were just what I needed after the hustle and bustle of graduation.

We’ve stayed at quite a few Air B and B’s around the world, and this was without a doubt one of the most beautiful, places that we have ever had the pleasure of staying! The out door deck area and landscaped fire pit/sitting area is absolutely gorgeous! Sitting at hilltop height, we could view the beach as well as near by hills with ever changing clouds, hawks, humming birds etc, that made being outside an amazing experience! The cabin was not only very comfortable, but also contained a lot of thoughtful, clever interior design features. This location comes with our highest recommendation!

The property was beautiful and the home was quaintly decorated and had a cozy cabin feel. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was spacious. The whole family enjoyed the zip line and priceless memories were made! I would absolutely stay there again. We didn't want to leave. Access to the cabin was about 2 miles down a dirt road that allowed us to frequently see deer relaxing nearby. Spectacular!!

What a spectacular location - nestled in the heart of Smith Rock State Park - a stones throw from the Crooked River. Don’t miss hot-tubbing — watching the sunset with Smith peaks silhouette in the foreground then tracking stars and satellites after dark. Truly a one-of-a-kind experience!

This was a perfect stay. I don’t think the pictures do this place justice. The view was fantastic but even more impressive were the hosts. We lost our car keys when we were checking out, and the hosts were incredible and so accommodating. They even offered to let us stay another night if we needed too. This was one of our best Airbnb stays ever. I highly recommend it. We are even thinking about making a special trip back just to stay here again. Thanks Nate and Zoe!

An amazing stay! The hot tub with the beach view was magical during sunset along with the fire place. Clare called to talk over check in and we got to ask about the dogs at the neighbors house which was very helpful. Other dogs didn’t cause any issues with ours Bob sounded aggressive but was never and stayed near the fence never approached the house our are dog. Would love to stay again

Loved this Airbnb! Perfect location, private tucked in the woods and had nice view of the river. Very clean with a lot of amenities that gave it an extra “at home” cozy feeling. Communication with Shannon was great, always responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again and recommend 110%

We were very pleased with April's Airbnb! We only stayed a few days but felt very comfortable and whenever we had a question, she responded quickly. Roseburg and Oregon in general is very beautiful and we had a wonderful view from the deck area!

This was a wonderful place to stay and would highly recommend it. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.

My husband and I were in Ashland for the Shakespeare Festival, and enjoyed a fantastic stay at Katy and Jesse’s cottage-above-the-garage. They were delightful hosts who were quick to answer questions, but gave us plenty of space to make ourselves at home. The location was perfect— super quiet and a quick walk to theaters and restaurants. Everything was clean; the air conditioners were nearly silent, and the uncluttered, well-equipped space worked beautifully for us. Highly recommended! We look forward to returning!

We stayed here the evening of our engagement and it was absolutely incredible. My fiancé was blown away by the place when we pulled up. It’s at the top of the hill and had the most incredible view of the mountain landscape. We had wine and enjoyed the sunset that evening on the deck. The pictures do not do it justice at all. Jamie and Megan were also super helpful in setting up custom requests. Thanks for making our engagement so memorable!

This place is a gem! It’s the best Airbnb we’ve been to. The property is gorgeous - such a wonderful place to relax with a spa and multiple areas to enjoy the outside along with an incredible view of the Rogue River. We spent hours on the dock - reading, eating, & sunbathing. We loved watching the geese and ducks with their babies on the water. The studio is super cute and had everything we needed including the most comfortable bed. The location is perfect. It is such a peaceful, quiet spot yet we were 5 minutes from the cutest town with amazing restaurants and shops. Kirk is so friendly - a wonderful and gracious host! We would love to go back!

We felt brilliant about selecting this place for an overnight before early riding for Crater Lake. Lisa was a wonderful host and the fully outfitted basement seemed more like a ranch cabin of our own. Nice touches made it even better. We would return!

Jennifer has gone above and beyond to make Suite Madrona a very comfortable place to stay. I was there for a full week and could not have asked for more. She has attended to every detail. In addition, she recommended some wineries in the area I did not know about. This lovely enclave is only 15 minutes from Ashland without charging Ashland prices, and very close to the airport. I highly recommend Suite Madrona.

The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and felt like a perfect getaway spot. It was fully stocked with everything we needed-especially in the kitchen-so we only had to bring groceries and personal items. The view was absolutely stunning! The water was too cold to swim during our stay, and access to the swimming hole or fishing spots really required a kayak, so keep that in mind. It’s about 30-40 minutes from Roseburg, which made it feel remote but still accessible. Overall, a great experience!

The cabin was beautiful! The hosts were amazing and responsive and helped me out with any questions I had. The cabin was so cozy, and they have everything you could need. Their directions were very clear on how to get to the cabin and after that they let us do our thing! You will see lots of wildlife and get shaken by the train a bit (but no horn) but it was fun! I loved the whole set up it was perfect for a couples getaway!

Jim, thank you so much! My dad and aunt stayed at your place and were truly stunned by the peacefulness and natural beauty. I came out for a quick visit on Sunday night and was equally impressed—what a fabulous location! Even though we live in Eugene, my boyfriend and I will definitely be booking a stay ourselves sometime soon. During our visit, we were lucky enough to see geese and their adorable babies waddling nearby, which made the whole experience even more special. We shared sandwiches with my sister and her family for Father's Day in your lovely covered picnic area, took great pictures, and made some beautiful memories together. My daughter’s baby shower (held in Eugene) was a huge success, and it meant the world to her that my dad could be part of it. Given his stage 4 kidney cancer, travel and comfort are especially important, and your place provided exactly what he needed. Thank you for making that possible and for being such a thoughtful and gracious host.

Rosie was an exceptional host! She had all the fine details sorted out, including a basket of welcome, goodies and local wine. The property is so serene and I would definitely stay here again and likely will!

This cabin and property are amazing. Super quiet, beautiful surroundings with cool trails... Easy to access yet you still feel like you’re in the middle of the woods. Close to the waterfalls, trails, Tokatee…Comfy bed, super clean, I’ll definitely be back.

Well equipped for a family of 4. We all raved about the comfort of the beds. The new shower, killer! We walked the greenway trail every morning to warm up before our daily adventures. I did feel we were going to be ON the river, but were totally cool with the tiny walk to the community chairs at the river. We were always alone. The grass and flowers are as well cared for as the house. Pretty perfect place. We would absolutely come here again.

Jane is an angel on this Earth and was an incredible host! She was super easy to communicate with and we were so lucky to even meet her one night at the communal fire pit on the property. She answered all of our questions about the beautiful acrage ( that has incredible energy and surprises to find ) and told us awesome stories. We stopped here on a roadtrip and it was the perfect place to ground and stay. The beds (even the cot that she helped us set up) were more comfortable than mine at home! We would love to come back as soon as possible!

We stayed for three days during our visit to Crater Lake and had a great time. The place was clean and quiet and the amenities made it homey. We especially loved the hot tub and sauna.
