Beachfront vacation rentals in South Shore

Stayed here 2 years in a row now for a girls trip and both times have been absolutely amazing. 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and bars. Plenty of space in the backyard for 9 people to sit. Also very cozy living room to all gather and play games/watch movies. Host was extremely responsive in her communication as well. 10/10 would recommend. We already can’t wait to come back next year!

Beautiful location, beautiful house, great place to stay.

This home was perfect for our large family group. There are many places to gather upstairs, downstairs, on the big porch, and in the yard. The kitchen and living room are in the top floor. The kitchen has every cooking tool and pot known to humanity! We cook so this was a big plus. The home is steps from the lagoon, a deep bay on the north coast of MV. All of the bathrooms and bedrooms are on the first floor. The beds were comfortable, plenty of blankets and pillows were available. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I have been coming to MV since I was a kid and this place is just awesome- might be my favorite stay on the island! From the location to the amount of space the rental has to offer it’s just top notch. This is our second time staying at Todd’s house and we can’t wait to come back for a 3rd visit! House is tidy, no clutter and has all the essentials one would need. About a 10 min drive to south beach where we spent most of our vacation. The restaurant/bar and shopping scene is true perfection. Thanks for hosting us for year 2, Todd!

All I can really say is… wow!! From the moment we arrived, Liza was incredibly communicative, accommodating, and welcoming. And upon arrival, we recognized how truly special her home is; with so much character and charm! It’s very private and felt incredibly safe. The home seems nestled into Martha's Vineyard itself and the back led out to a private green space, dock, and beach with blooming bushes next to the path. This was such a rare find. It was so magical, we spent an afternoon painting watercolors of the view of the boats on the water that you can see from the living room. With six girls staying for a bachelorette weekend, we had an abundance of room. It is more spacious than the photos capture. Situated in a prime location near Edgartown. And every piece of decor, plate, bowl, cup felt vintage, special, unique. This place has authentic charm. Bottom line: Our stay was incredible. We all can’t wait to come back again!

Great accommodation. House looks like the pictures and it was walking distance to some of Falmouths best spots.

The house was clean and everything the website said it would be. The hosts were responsive to emails, and clear in the instructions for house. The proximity to OB and the other towns was excellent. We enjoyed our first Air BnB experience at this house!

The cottage is very cozy with a nice open kitchen, dining, living room space. The couch is very comfortable and large. The shared yard space is a nice bonus.

Our family stayed at Madi's place for our summer vacation. Madi was very responsive and communicative prior to our stay with local recommendations and instructions for the home and beach passes. Our family of 5 was comfortable and we had a wonderful time on MV. Would definitely return to Madi's place.

We loved are family stay at Paul & Katie’s home for Easter Week. It is a dream home . The neighborhood was beautiful and walkable, with a peaceful path to a private beach. We enjoyed the shops and restaurants in Mashpee Commons about an 8 minute drive away.

In our experience we had wonderful communication from Chris’s team. They were extremely responsive to our messages and checking on our stay. The location was amazing! Nice pool deck, steps to the beach, and so many amazing restaurants. The room was comfortable, enough storage, and efficient kitchen to use. When we had issues with our televisions, the staff were quick to find solutions.

The room was cozy and clean with modern, quality furnishing. In room fridge was a plus. Balcony over-looking property and waterfront was highlight!

We had such a great stay! The place was super private and peaceful — perfect for relaxing. The hosts were really welcoming and made us feel right at home. Their dog was so cute and friendly, definitely a highlight! The space was cozy and comfortable, and we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

this is a great unit with lots of space for the family. so much to do on the cape and near by. but you can just park the car and just stay put with a beach and pool! everything went perfect

The Condo was clean & comfortable. Having two bedrooms with queen beds was perfect for us, and sharing the 1 bathroom worked fine. The price was better than most other options. It was peaceful, and very quiet during our stay (in early May). Having the pool available would be very nice in summer months.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Lisa’s place. The kids had a blast walking the side path and chasing all the little crabs. Spent everyday at the ocean and enjoyed being able to use the outside shower. The view was amazing while eating outside on the porch but the bugs ate us alive on the first night. We will be back to Lisa’s at some point.

This spot is exceptionally beautiful, even for a place as picturesque as Martha’s Vineyard. The space and the yard exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s spacious and warm with old world charm and practicality. It felt like we were staying in a family friend’s home, where it was cozy, peaceful, and private. The views out of the upstairs bedrooms are surreal but nothing steals the show like the sun setting over the water every evening. We grew so fond of it we opted for takeout most nights because dinner on the back porch followed by a walk down to the private beach for sunset beat the ambience of any restaurant on the island. The owners are amazing too- quick to reply, helpful, and so generous. This house is a treasure and we look forward to staying there again.

We loved this cottage for a weekend getaway! It was so close to the water and extremely peaceful- we loved sitting on the porch and going for walks around the village. Justin was extremely responsive and easy to work with. Would love to come back again in the summer!!

My family and I loved this house! It looked brand new! We walked into town for coffee each morning, and the beach is literally a 5 min walk down the hill. We especially enjoyed sitting on the lovely big back deck in the early evening. Inside, plenty of room to make all 5 of us feel comfortable. Comfy beds, nice sheets & towels, great bathrooms. We hope to come back for a longer stay next time!

Absolutely beautiful cottage and location! We had an amazing weekend and the house was immaculate. Vito and Kerry were super responsive and helpful throughout the trip. I would highly recommend this place for a wonderful stay on Chappy!

Rose was great She greeted us and show us around. When we had questions she responded quickly messages. Would definitely stay there again.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at Tim's place. The home was spacious, clean, and we felt at home when we walked in the door. We spent every evening in the screened in room discussing our outing from the day and deciding what time we needed to get up to go on our adventure the next day. I would highly recommend Tim's place and plan to share my trip with another group of friends and hopefully return for another visit.
