Vacation rentals with a patio in South Portland

This Airbnb was amazing! It was extremely clean and looked exactly like the pictures. Haley and Diane were wonderful hosts and made sure we had a smooth check-in. The location is perfect because it is so close to downtown Portland and there are so many restaurants and activities to choose from. Furthermore, we had a group of 7 on our trip and we had plenty of space in this airbnb. 5/5 stars. I highly recommend this location!!

We had a wonderful stay here - spacious for our group of 5 + dog. Easy drive to the old port and also great walkable area! Everything was as described / clean / comfy / great communication - would absolutely recommend for your group trip to Portland!

This was a great place to accommodate five or six people. The kitchen was well equipped with all the tools we needed to cook at home, including several spices. We enjoyed a lovely patio to sit on in the back. There were a few board games available that we enjoyed. This was a great option!

Very cozy little apartment. Perfect for a couple or maybe small family. The outdoor patio is a lovely touch! Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. Alex was a great host!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was exceptionally clean and felt fresh the moment we walked in. It had a very comfortable and homey vibe, which made it easy to settle in and relax. The host was incredibly proactive and thoughtful and always checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly and offering help whenever needed. Overall, a great experience. Would definitely stay here again!

Kevin's place was so cute, very clean. It had everything we needed and more. Everything seemed to be brand new. It even smelled new when you walked in. Even the train that runs through Old Orchard. We have one near our house, so we are used to it. Good thing is, they don't blow the horn much.

My dog and I had a great time here and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. We found lots of dog-friendly hikes and nature reserves nearby within 15-30 minutes . Otherwise we enjoyed the peaceful yard and small brook on the property. Beautiful and thoughtful rental, with very friendly hosts.

Rachel’s place was extremely clean and comfortable. It was the perfect place to spend a snowy and stormy day with our pup. Very convenient to get to Portland. Close to grocery store and anything you might need. Rachel was very quick to respond when we had questions and had ice melt delivered for us same day which was a huge help in the storm.

Gregory was a pleasure to deal with and this stay was exactly what we were looking for!

Such a cute, quiet, well-designed bungalow! The beds and couches were super comfortable, at times it was hard to get up! But we managed to run the half-marathon around the bay, walk the nearby trails and visit downtown. I hope 42 Vermont is available for our next visit to Portland. THANK YOU. The plentiful coffee pods were a bonus!

We booked Will’s place last minute and it turned out to be the perfect spot to relax for an evening! Nice neighborhood and close to amenities! Cute house with great Maine coastal decor. Would definitely stay again!

Jennifer’s place is one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed it. It’s charming, light, modern, immaculate, and well stocked. I am not exaggerating when I say the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the waterfront and near cute shops and restaurants. Five stars, highly recommend!

We were here with a group of 10 for my bachelorette. The house is BEAUTIFUL and was perfect for our group! The beds are extremely comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, and there are lots of different spaces to hang out and socialize. 10/10 recommend!!

Great location in So Portland! Loved the bakery across the street as well as the ice cream shop. We walked to the beach twice. Super close and quiet street! House was clean and so cute. We stayed two nights on our way home from Bar Harbor. We wished we would have been able to stay more. Had a question for David. Immediately called and took care of our need. Great places for families and your pet. Our pup enjoyed Willard Beach! Dog hours in the AM and the PM.

The apartment was just as lovely as it appeared in the photos online, and the sunlight was fantastic. The location was also great, with many terrific restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. I would definitely want to stay at Taryn's place again the next time I'm visiting Portland!

What a great location for a quiet stay in Portland! It’s 5 minutes by car to the Old Port and easily walkable/runnable to the Back Cove Trail and even to downtown Portland itself. The condo is lovely and just as described. My family (2 adults, 2 kids ages 3 and 7) was very comfortable during our 3-night stay. Lastly, Colin was responsive and a great host.

All of Maine feels 'rustic' to me. This was a great Airbnb with that in mind and fantastic value for the area. It's a very short walk to the beach and right next to a great BBQ restaurant which serves local beer and even gluten-free pizzas! The roof deck was glorious. The TV is 'megalithic'. I cannot believe the bath isn't mentioned in the listing! It's deep. I brought bath salts and enjoyed many hours in the tub. Perfect! This was truly a home away from home with everything I could possibly need. Some of the windows don't quite seal so there is road noise in the bedrooms. It feels like the ground underneath the building has shifted over the decades so I'm sure straight lines for windows are impossible to sustain. It's a quiet road at night. One bed is firm, the other is soft. The hosts are very responsive.

This is a beautiful and well kept condo, within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops and the waterfront. Perfect little coffee shop one block away and a market directly below. Great home base for a long stay and impeccably clean!

First time coming down to maine. Right in the center of everything. 10-20 minute drives (not bad). We ate at Pine Point Grille the first night and it was amazing. Second, we tried Dunstan’s Tap and Table. Had to wait 30 minutes, but was worth it. Great area, felt very homey. I would come back.

This space was very cute and perfect for my friend and I to stay for the weekend. Very clean and cute decor. The only thing I would say is the window ac does not cool the entire space as much as needed in the hot summer months. Other than this very very small detail the stay was wonderful and Trish was so accommodating and helpful. I would 100% stay here again!!

This place was perfect at every turn. Clean, warm, welcoming, and had everything we needed during our stay. The location was the best part. Walkable to everything we wanted to do in Portland. The rooftop was just icing on the cake. Highly recommend!
