Kayaking, canoeing, and fishing are also available in Ipswich.

Lovely home, great location and friendly and helpful host. Felt more like a "hosted B&B or inn" rather than the more common experience I've had with Air B&B of the host being available but not a visible presence. If you are looking for a private, nonengaging experience, this might not be for you. However, if you enjoy meeting your host, we found Bob to be warm and cheery and he made us a lovely breakfast with excellent coffee. Rosy was away so we did not meet her, however, her decorating talents were much on display from the tableware to the linens and accoutrements, all of which made us feel like we were special guests.

A lively downtown street is lined with brick buildings showcasing various shops and restaurants. Parked vehicles are visible along the street, while pedestrians stroll on the sidewalk. Bright blue skies create a cheerful backdrop for this urban scene.

The Hygge House was a beautiful accommodation for our last minute needs! We were coming from Boston and decided to extend our mini weekend trip another day and decided on the Hygge house. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice! The room was spotless, modern and cozy at the same time, cookware, linens, furniture was all of good high quality and clean. The smaller touches like the little book of Hygge for reading was pleasant and fun to read over breakfast with my partner. We highly recommend the Hygge House for singles or couples looking for a clean, beautiful and peaceful stay in Newburyport! We are very excited to come back and visit again soon. Thank you so much! ☺️

We came for a graduation in Fremont but still had to do some work via online The place was perfect for what we needed and more. The WiFi was great, and the little touches made our stay real comfy. Unfortunately, Janice had injured her leg so we had no personal interaction with her. It was nice that she parked her car on the street, and we used the driveway. Amesbury is a lovely walkable town and her place was an easy walk to0 the square.

The house was perfect and had everything we needed. There was honestly no need to communicate with Kara during our stay because everything was provided and we didn't want for anything but by her timely responses to me on the day we checked in I'm confident if I did have a request it would have been handled promptly. My wife has family in the area so when we visit again we will definitely stay here if available. The main floor was super open and spacious and the bedrooms are nice and big. Highly recommend.
