It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

Swimming lake with particularly clear waters. The water temperature is particularly mild and it is possible to swim from late May until early October. It is also ideal as a base for those wishing to visit the many tourist resorts in the area: Orta San Giulio, Lake Maggiore with Stresa and the Borromean Islands, Lake Mergozzo, the Ossola Valley, the Strona Valley, Valsesia and many others. Alps Mountains. Italy. Aosta Valley. A cabin in a small village at 1600 meters,in the peace of meadows, grazing cows and mountains. Snow (usually) in the winter. A place of the heart, lovingly restored preserving the ancient beams of the roof. A wonderful view from the large windows and a special tranquility for those in search of peace, warmth and relaxation. The furniture is very nice: wood above all, but also more lively colors, and modern comforts. Quiet excursions, both on snowshoes or ski.

The apartment is beautiful!! Stylish, cozy and yet modernly furnished with a cozy outdoor seating area with garden and surrounded by vines, very quiet and private. The region was affected by heavy storms at the time of arrival, yet thanks to Valentina, there was no lack of coziness and comfort! She even brought us a bottle of wine, gave us updates on the situation and was always available. We'd come back in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful time at Miranda's cottage. It is located in a beautiful valley, you have views of the village of Meula and the forests and mountains. The area is fantastically beautiful. You can hike and Lake Maggiore is only about 1.15 hours by car. The cottage is very homey! When the rain bursts on the roof while the fire burns, you can relax wonderfully on the comfortable bed. I also particularly liked the modern bathroom with the large rain shower. I'd love to come back!

Claudio and Zuzana have done an amazing job of creating a peaceful and private place to stay. The space is well designed and all fixtures and furnishings are well chosen and of a high standard. They were lovely people to meet and converse with, and they helped with local restaurant reservations. We would definitely return to stay next time we are in the area.
