It was right place what I wanted. Very peaceful area. Very friendly host. All of her family was great. Enjoyed homely cooked local food. Only thing one should keep in mind, to reach their home you have go through some steps which is very dificult for older people as well as who has knee problems. 😀

We had an amazing 2-night stay at this lovely homestay in Lebong. Located in the serene outskirts of Darjeeling, it was the perfect escape from the rushed crowd and noise of the main town. The surroundings were quiet, green, and absolutely beautiful, ideal for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was another highlight,simple, tasty, and truly home-like. We also enjoyed exploring the local area and soaking in the peaceful vibes. If you're looking for a calm, authentic experience away from the touristy chaos, this homestay is a gem. Highly recommended, and we’d definitely love to return!

Its a great place and great hospitality by Swarnim and Family.The surroundings are beautiful. The only concern is the off road at the end to reach the property.Only a Tata Sumo can reach near the property, other vehicles won’t make it.The off road can scare you specially if you are travelling with elders or children. And there is a little hiking needed to reach the property. If the off road and the little hike is not a problem then the property is an ideal place to sit around and enjoy the mountains. Rooms are clean,also they will do cleaning and arrangements as per request.There are 3 connected bedrooms and a separate room. Room size is a bit small but should not be a concern. Kitchen is downstairs and the living as well.A bit stiff stairs. Overall a very nice property if you want to enjoy silence and nature.Also a good wfm destination.Hospitality is great,they will cook homely and tasty foods. leaches might be a concern outside in rainy seasons,though its common in Darjeeling.

The Homestay - Humble. If you're seeking peace and tranquility, you must come here. Sit by the window and all you see is the lush green panorama, all you hear is the endless chirping of birds. And when you see the clouds rolling in through the valley, you may never want to leave. The Host - Like a brother, he took care of us. Prakash bhai was there when our flight was hours late and we arrived post midnight. He did complain a bit, but that's his pahadi sense of humour. Never said no to any requests/demands. He offered us snacks+coffee+rum, and did not charge a single penny more, even though all of it was out of his meal plan. And he suggested us hikes/treks around Gurdum. This is where Chandan bhai comes in. The man not only cooked for us, but was also our guide on a short but thrilling hike to Dumbarkhola falls. Amenities - Basic. Clean room, delicious food. If you're a yak/pork lover, ask for it. 3 meals, 2 tea+snacks per day is offered at ₹600. Come here, rediscover yourself.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The property features a beautiful garden—perfect for relaxing and enjoying some peaceful downtime. Prashant ji was an exceptional host: warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. He guided us with our local travel plans and shared excellent recommendations for sightseeing and dining. The whole experience felt more like staying at a friend’s home—a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Highly recommended!

The property is located in the mid of a tea garden. Beautiful place. Perfect for spending some time in the midst of lush green scenic beauty. On top of it Rebika is an awesome host. She took care of us very well. Approaching road is not perfect. But it's worth the trouble once you reach the place.

Where to begin… Staying at Sristi’s farm was such an authentic and unforgettable experience. I had the chance to live alongside Sristi and her lovely family, and it gave me a genuine glimpse into their way of life. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home — Sristi has such a warm, welcoming energy, and we connected really naturally. She quickly felt more like a friend than a host. We shared some amazing moments together, including a trip to a beautiful river. There’s so much to do around the farm — whether you’re in the mood for hiking, exploring the nearby village (don’t miss the best samosa in West Sikkim!), or simply unwinding and soaking in the peaceful nature all around. And I can’t forget to mention the food — absolutely delicious, every single meal! Needless to say, I highly recommend staying here. It’s a special place, and one I’ll carry with me for a long time. I found this hotel esly, the people here were very nice and the food here was also very good and the view here was also very good, this is the best homestay of Darjeeling.
