Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Somogy County

We have been there for two weeks and it has been a very good and relaxing vacation, the house is traditionally renovated but with all the amenities, it has many decorative elements of the time. The area is quiet, peaceful, very polite neighbors, the people in the village are very nice, many spoke very well of Gábor. By car, 10, or 15 or 20 minutes away you have restaurants, wineries, the lake, castles... In the village there is a small supermarket with several things. Gábor was very attentive and polite with us, always concerned to know if we were well and if we were resting. In conclusion, highly recommended to go as a couple or with family to rest. We hope to go again sometime.

The listing is as described, it's a good idea to read the details because they have important information. The house is amazing, incredibly cozy. You really need to take care of the head. :) The street is tidy and quiet. The only negative thing we encountered is the neighbor in the back, where if there's a party (we ran into the morning bloomer), you can't sleep in the loft from the noise. The room downstairs and the couch were a great place for us, and it was quiet. The playroom deserves a huge plus point. We had a great time!

We booked the house as a group of 11 people and it was perfect. You have everything you need to have a great stay. The indoor and outdoor kitchen are equipped with all essentials and were perfectly clean. The house is located in a more private location which is great to enjoy a chill summer weekend. Barnabas was always a good communicator and even as we had to do some changes before the stay, he was always proactive and reachable. We would love to come back someday!

The location of the house is perfect for exploring the Balatonfelvid and the North Shore, due to its special location, only nature can be seen in the background with Lake Balaton in every direction. Its equipment and spaces are wonderful for a large family, and its cleanliness is impeccable. The hosts are kind and flexible, and all our questions were answered quickly.

We arrived with two babies and a four-year-old. We had a good time in the tastefully renovated cottage. Everything was really cozy. :)

I have nothing but praise for Anett's property and her exceptional hosting. The area is a peaceful village by beautiful Lake Balaton, surrounded by green fields and vineyards. We loved cycling around, hiking to nearby attractions, and spotting wildlife. It was a true experience of tranquility and nature. The vacation home is delightful - beautifully furnished, spacious, and well-equipped. Our family of seven stayed comfortably for ten days. The large balcony overlooks a garden full of fruit trees, adding to the charm. Anett is an outstanding host. Her communication was excellent, and she went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Thoughtful touches like children's games, books, bicycles, and local maps truly elevated our experience. The house had everything we needed and more. It's rare to find such a well-prepared vacation home with so many amenities. In summary, every moment was enjoyable. For us, it was a dream vacation in a perfect setting.

A great place to stay for a quiet and active vacation - perfect location in a very quiet area. The house is brand new, beautiful, clean and very stylish! I recommend!!! I also appreciate the communication with the host, which was great. 2 bedrooms for 2 couples, we had a private one. Terrace overlooking the garden, including a barbecue. Parking in the backyard. I really recommend the stay.

We had an absolutely fantastic two-week stay at this Airbnb! The house is perfectly equipped for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The kitchen is fully fitted, making it easy to cook meals, and every part of the house feels thoughtfully prepared to ensure a pleasant stay. The garden and pool area are simply wonderful—beautifully maintained and a joy to spend time in. Both my children and we thoroughly enjoyed swimming and lounging by the pool. A special highlight for our kids was the company of the owner’s two lovely cats, who were an absolute delight to have around. The owner was incredibly nice and helpful, always available to offer recommendations and ensure that we had everything we needed. Their hospitality truly made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had an amazing two weeks here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect holiday getaway!

Friendly and really helpful host, the place was perfect for our family to enjoy our stay, for hop down to the beach or sit and talk peacefully at the backyard on the evenings.

One can only say, great. We were very satisfied and felt right at home. It couldn't be better.

We stayed at Judith's place for a week. Unfortunately, we met her daughter and her husband, Judith, who was sick. The hosts are very nice and the daughter speaks German very well. The apartment is very nice and well equipped. There were four of us and we were very comfortable. We can warmly recommend this accommodation and if we would like to go on vacation again with Judith again.

A perfect retreat to relax and unwind. Greg was an exceptional host who explained everything about the region and gave us lots of information about local restaurants and vineyards. The apartment was perfect for our group of four. The pool area was great which is super relaxed and peaceful. There is also facilities to cook a BBQ with a seating area, fire pit (although we didn’t have time to use it) and darts! Greg’s apartment is perfect to use a base with a car to explore this side of Lake Balaton!

Harald's apartment is perfect for a comfortable stay close to Lake Balaton. It is in a nice small village in a very calm and quiet neighborhood. The apartment is well equipped with everything you would need for your stay. Harald is a great host - he made sure that we had all information to get to the apartment easily and he even arranged for extra equipment that we needed. I highly recommend Harald's place for anyone who would like to enjoy a few quiet and relaxing days at Lake Balaton!

We really enjoyed our stay at Rita’s, great location and very nice host.

Pictures don’t do this place justice. So peaceful with the best view of lake balaton, feels secluded but with everything you could need. Host was very flexible and responsive. For those with small children and limited mobility would be aware that only one bedroom on the first floor and outside because of the nice view there are lots of stairs.

We had a wonderful stay at Erika's, and will definitely go back. Lovely accommodation and very peaceful. Balatonboglar was just a few minutes drive away with shops, restaurants and everything you needed for your stay in the area. Having the air-conditioning was a real bonus as the weather was very hot so made our stay very comfortable. Communication was excellent, & like I said before will definitely return in the future. The view was the first thing that impressed us, followed by the beautiful nature surrounding the property. The house is very nicely designed, and the pool is amazing. We enjoyed BBQing every night. We had a lovely stay at this property. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was fantastic—close to a great beachfront and many supermarkets. The view was absolutely amazing, even better than we could see in the pictures! The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. No issues at all! Overall, it was a great experience. Would definitely recommend staying here!
