The Swan House is an old family house on the cliff, under the beautiful lake of Zbilje. It is very unique, peaceful place, which is very good situated. The old part of the house is dated 1905. Many books, texts were written here, because the proprietor is very known anthropologist from Slovenija. So, place is good for personal research, reflections, and of course discovering the country. The place is great, comfortable, clean and looks so nice! It was what we were looking for! There is a bus stop right in front to have easy access to the city center, grocery shops nearby and a shopping mall 5' walking distance. As breakfast was not included in our reservation, we decided to pay entra and we're glad that we did it. Great options for all tastes! On top of all that, the staff were super friendly and suggested a lot of things to do in the city. Definitely would book again if visiting Ljubljana!

had a great vacation! Getting used to our new alarm clock (the cows) but that's also very nice. Good base to discover slovenie. Bled and Kranj at half an hour. Lubjana nearby. More from bohinj and bird recommended. The much more done! super friendly family and explanation about farm life. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back!!!

We loved our three night stay in Lan's characterful and fantastically located apartment. My son slept on the sofa bed and me in the bedroom and there was plenty of room. Lan is an exceptional host: providing a mass of helpful guidance and suggestions to make the most of this wonderful city. One of its greatest strengths is being at the heart of a fascinating, artistic and creative local community. We even enjoyed a local concert directly outside one evening. Strongly recommended. The accommodation was exactly as described and we received clear instructions about check-in/check-out. We came by train and it took about 20 minutes to walk to the accommodation, which suited us well. There was a good grocery store just a few minutes away and a few restaurants nearby. For us, it was walking distance into the city (about 15-20 min) and all the sights that are there, the park next to the accommodation was cozy and has some activities for those who like this. A big plus for us was a good AC that did its job efficiently as it was about 30 degrees hot while we were there. We stayed in apartment 1, which was at the back of the house, one flight up, which was a quiet location. We were super happy with our stay.

A cozy balcony area is furnished with comfortable seating and a coffee table, surrounded by greenery and flowering plants. Soft curtains drape along the wall, creating a serene atmosphere enhanced by warm lighting.
