Dalia and her husband provided great hospitality, very helpful, made sure I was enjoying my staying at all times and offered suggestions on things to do while I was in Siwa. The house is located in the town centre and Siwa’s highlights are a 20-40min bike ride away. A bike that I got from Dalia to rent for the duration of my stay, it made my life easier. I was also lucky enough to be taken to dinner with some of the other guests by Dalia and her husband. My best moments in Egypt were spent here! Amazing place!

Traditional Siwan Eco House in Siwa town

This house is a real family house, created by a Danish family who built and lived in the house for several years. Its organic and spacious, in the middle of the buzzling oasis but still private and calm. It's curious and playful in its architecture and has lots of secret hang out spots around the house. In the cold desert nights, light the big fireplace and settle on the comfortable couch. The house is located next to the Shali lodge, a five minute palm tree sheltered walk from center of town.

Staying at this farmhouse in the middle of the desert was a truly special experience. The peaceful surroundings, stunning scenery, and warm hospitality made it unforgettable. The house was clean, comfortable. It’s the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy nature.

The eco-friendly house showcases unique architecture with earthy walls constructed from natural materials. Large windows and openings provide natural light, while a thatched roof extends over the patio area, enhancing the blend of indoor and outdoor living in a serene setting.

Dalia is a wonderful host. I had delicious breakfast prepared by Dalia. Lovely exotic place in Siwa oasis. Dalia also specialises in curated tours around Siwa Oasis. A great place to unwind . Bedroom is spacious and comfortable beddings. Bathroom is spotless.

Dalia's place is really special - a traditional Siwi house with all the historical features, but all the modern things you need too (clean bathroom, soft beds, fans, well-equipped kitchen). Dalia is a great host; she is ready to give advice on Siwa, organise taxi tuktuk transport, and provide help with excursions. Siwa is beautiful and this house is a great place to explore from (close to the Shali Fortress, the centre, the Mountain of the Dead, and a short drive/cycle from other sights such as Cleopatra's Eye, Alexander Temple etc.,). Highly recommend! Big thanks to Dalia and Senousi too.
