A historic lodge that has been totally updated WITHOUT losing any of it's charm. The ambiance is unchanged - BUT the plumbing, wiring, & HVAC systems are new. New gourmet kitchen features eight burner stove with two ovens. Views of the sunsets from the deck are unbelievable. NOTE - The master bedroom (king bed) is included only when groups of 8 or more.

We have a stylish & cozy one bedroom ground level apartment. We are centrally located right near DownTown, (light sleepers beware), just blocks away from main street, banks and the harbour front. We are one block away from the Lake of the Woods Brewing Company, the Post Office and No Frills. 2 blocks from Cinema, many shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Not 10 minutes to the lovely Kenora Harbour Front and the Whitecap Pavilion. Take in all the events and a simple walk home. We accept dogs.

The entrance is private and will lead to the large master bedroom as well as bathroom with laundry facilities. There is no kitchen in the unit but there is everything you need to make tea and coffee as well as a microwave and minifridge. Sliding doors in the master bedroom lead to a deck to enjoy or a BBQ to use. At 70 steps, it’s a bit of a trek to the dock, but once there, you can make use of the paddle board or kayak. Winter tires or all wheel drive highly recommended in winter!

The home was beautiful, spacious, and everything was exactly as it looked in the pictures. If there were any consequences, the beds were a little hard to sleep on and the screens in 2 of the rooms were full of holes and the mosquitos were thirsty. Otherwise 5/5 just the same.

This was a great location for our friends and family fishing trip. Getting up in the morning to watch the sun come up on the river didn’t suck either. Beautiful!! We all enjoyed our time at the cabin. Great, proactive hosts too!!

It’s clear the hosts have poured their hearts into making this a peaceful and welcoming retreat. The amenities were above and beyond—everything we needed and more was thoughtfully provided. Whether we were enjoying a quiet morning coffee on the deck, cozying up indoors, or cooking a meal in the well-stocked kitchen, we felt right at home. Every corner was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of personal touches that made our stay feel extra special. If you're looking for a place to unwind, reconnect with nature, while still being minutes from local restaurants and tourist attractions, this is it. We left feeling grateful, and already dreaming of our next stay.

Had an amazing weekend staying at Kristin’s place. She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and settled and had excellent communication. Accommodations were very clean, spacious and felt right at home. Outside is a beautiful deck with a view of the water and was a great getaway. Highly recommend staying here. Thanks Kristin!
