Lovely apartment by the lake. We got up everyday with beautiful view of lake como by the window. Very calmed, not far from Villa del balbianello 6 minutes by car.

The apartment has an unbelievable view. The view out the front door will take your breath away. It's beautiful. The entire town is walkable and worth exploring. The train and ferry stations are also walking distance from the apartment, and we ended up using both for day trips to other lake cities. This is truly a magical location. We will forever remember having our morning coffee or pre-dinner wine on the lake, a mere 10 feet from our front door. Francesca and her mother were amazing, responsive, and helpful in every way. They left us a bottle of their family's wine as a welcome present. On our departure day, it was pouring rain, and they offered to drive us to the train station. So unexpected and kind. I would highly recommend this apartment and location. We'll visit again.

Absolutely wonderful stay and amazing host. The apartment was exactly as described and the views and location were perfect. We loved sitting on the balcony, looking over the water and watching and hearing the people below. There are 2 wine bars just outside the door and also many restaurants. Alberto picked us up at the station and explained the apartment and area. Giorgio’s kindness was immeasurable. The trains had unexpectedly stopped running and he personally booked our transportation back to Milan and drove us to meet a new express bus. We could have never done this without him, as this was unpublished at the time. What a wonderful man! Varenna is a beautiful small village and there are many outstanding restaurants and things to do. Our highlight was taking a cooking class with Chef Marco, Chef’s Table, and later dining at his new restaurant, La Scarpetta. We recommend visiting the villas in town, taking the Taxi Boat to Villa Balbianello and hiking to the waterfall in Fiumelatte.

The flat was lovely and cool, spacious, and had everything we needed. We arrived to all the essentials (milk, eggs, water…), and loved being able to leave for evening swims just outside the bedroom door. There is a ferry port five minutes down the road on foot, and you can explore the whole of como! Great restaurants pretty much next door which was great!

The most beautiful apartment, with a gorgeous view from the balcony. It feels like a real Swiss log cabin with an open fire & lovely wooden furniture. The cosy yet open plan living area I loved. The secret room is such a fun touch (didn’t find it straight away, which made it even more fun). Great location for me, as close to family and 1minute from the Wynegg. A very comfy bed with feathered duvet & pillows and the apartment was always the perfect temperature and warm. The apartment has everything you need and more, adaptors, board games, fully stocked kitchen and a coffee machine. The hosts were amazing, so friendly and helpful and made the stay really simple and easy for me. I will definitely be back and so will my family.

Perfect place in a private location! We felt like we were locals instantly. We could walk to the restaurants and regularly went on strolls. Additionally we could walk to the local shop. Would recommend Benedetta’s for a truly authentic Lake Como experience.

Highly recommended. Beautiful view of the lake and mountain panorama. Great central starting point for all kinds of activities in Switzerland. Very friendly and easily accessible host who responded quickly with solutions. Very nice and clean place to stay. We will be happy to come back.

I would give this place ten stars if I could! The view is amazing. The place was just like the pictures and it was nice to have a little kitchenette. Gianluca was so kind and a great host! Definitely would recommend!

Monica’s place was outstanding The pictures did not do justice to the views Wow! Monica was very good communicating with us right from the start Check in was very straightforward and she even left us a bottle of Prosecco and water Monica is very thoughtful and her place was spotless and well furnished She responded very promptly to all our questions and offered great recommendations for transport , shops and restaurants Overall our stay was beyond our expectations and we are definitely coming back next year Hopefully by which time the C10 bus may be regular 😂 and on time !

This is a wonderful apartment. There is a river in front of the terrace. You have everything you need - from a well equipped kitchen to a barbeque. We loved the location, it is very close to hiking trails. Sufers is quite small, but you have a little shop and a dairy farm. Thanks for this wonderful stay!

Such an amazing place right at the lake side, so peaceful & beautiful. Apartment was clean, tidy, very bright, we enjoyed big windows. Chirping of the birds early morning while having coffee on the terrace was music for our ears. We celebrated mini honeymoon here & did not regret. Only thing we regret is not staying longer. This was our second stay, and definitely not our last. Maurizio was responsive and kind as ever, helping us out beyond what many other hosts would do. The flat itself is perfect for two people. Each time has been with my mum who has accessibility needs. There is only one step in the property and that is the front door. The shower is walk-in, and the bed is of high quality. The bedroom does not receive much daylight, so is the coolest room in the property (a blessing when the weather gets warmer). The castle is in prime location, 1 minute walk to the small, free beach. There are several benches scattered around - good for those that struggle to sit on the ground. We ate several times at La Porta Verde, a small café that do incredible paninis and pinsa. There is work undergoing near the property. Overall, noise was not that noticeable, mainly because we were out for the day. They do start working between 7:45-8:30, but generally quiet (no noise at all if at the beach).

We were 5 ladies who had a wonderful time there! We celebrated 2 birthdays there and it was just perfect! Everything is within walking distance. However, we drove to the supermarket and were able to buy everything our hearts desired there. We highly recommend this place and will return!

Great studio, very clean and as described, a very well thought out space. Hosts have really thought of everything you might need. Great communication. Would recommend you consider the stairs and ceiling height if you are tall.

This flat was extremely well located, in walking distance of the center of St Moritz, the train station, the cable car to Corviglia, a large supermarket and the Overva swimming and spa complex. The place was quaint and beds comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it
