home stay with local family

UmbertoRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The stay was incredible. Kindness and helpfulness that I have never seen anywhere else, always ready to offer guests the best possible experience and to help in case there are problems. The dromedary route through the dunes was magnificent, the dunes are among the most evocative landscapes I have ever seen. At the camp, you can take a shower (with some nice toads to keep you company), and the toilets are as clean as possible. Obviously, don't expect a luxury hotel, it's a desert camp. Dinner is buffet style and everything is delicious. After the shower, you will participate in a party with music and a bonfire. You'll learn to play the drum! Experience I would recommend to anyone!

Cute and nice tent, very well located, great for watching the stars in the desert, we took very beautiful photos. The staff is very kind and welcoming. The tent was well heated air conditioning and would not be frozen even on a winter night when the desert was cold.Meals are plentiful. Most importantly, uninterrupted hot water.

Sahara Wellness Camp

VincentRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Staying with Omar and Hassan was a good decision there’s a lot of camp around more than 200 and quality can differ, the camping has a nice setting, some Hamacs to chill or even table with chairs. Everything was clean and service very professional, I recommend, just take in note that you need to pay additional money for camel ride and food. On the food the quality was nice and quantity was enough to eat fully. Breakfast was also good

A quiet oasis

AurélienRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We were hosted very very well by Lhou and her son Mohammed. They took the time to chat with us, to tell us about their region and their culture with passion. The accommodation is very pleasant and peaceful. Perfect for rejuvenating. We particularly enjoyed the desert tour that Lhou offered us with the discovery of beautiful oases of the black desert, and Erg Chebbi. Plus, Lhou has some puzzles in her suitcase to make you work your mind.

It was a great accommodation. It is located in front of the Merzouga Dunes. The swimming pool is amazing and the accommodation is new and clean. The host was welcoming us nicely and helped us planning our activities. We can absolutely recommend this accommodation to everyone.

Riad in Merzouga

By far the best establishment in the region, even the kingdom, during my stays in Morocco. Very friendly staff, Beautiful hotel with pool, Secure Parking, Catering and amazing Moroccan breakfast for the price! Between this hotel (the man of the desert) and the dunes of the Sahara that you can visit directly on foot, quad or camel when leaving the hotel, you will find yourself like me on a little cloud. Don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed. I'll say it again, I really recommend eating on the premises! Thank you for everything,
