Cabin vacation rentals in Sierra Nevada

We had a lovely time at the cabin. S’mores were a nice touch for around the fire pit and we enjoyed the hot tub very much. Loft area was great for the family. Convenient to Yosemite. Wish we had more time to explore the lake!

My wife and I, our toddler, and my wife's parents stayed at Kevin & Jennifer's place in June '25. We had a fantastic time there, would certainly look to stay there again, and will be recommending to others. The cabin is very well kitted out - for relaxing and spending time there (comfortable spaces, different areas to relax in, hot tub outside) and also for cooking, the kitchen is very well stocked and we cooked most nights The location was great for us - nice and quiet, beautiful scenery on the balconies, access to the lake, and close enough to shops / walks for during the day Kevin & Jennifer were very responsive whenever we had questions about finding something in the apartment Overall a great holiday!

Had an amazing stay here for my boyfriend's birthday, Chris was so attentive and helpful in every way. Hygge house is absolutely beautiful and we will definitely be returning and recommending to friends! Thank you Chris for the lovely stay and hospitality!

I stayed here for a few days while I was working in Yosemite, and it was a great little space. The bed was comfy, the hot tub was nice, and it had everything I needed for just a few days! I would like to note that no matter what park entrance you use, this location is really about 90 minutes plus to get to most areas inside the park. I should have mapped it more thoroughly but the listing says 50 minutes I believe, which is probably just to the boundary of the outside of the park. So make sure you map it before you go! There were also quite a few little things that need fixing in the kitchen. The skillet handle was almost falling off, there was no cooking oil, the handle to the freezer is completely broken off and was just set on top, and the top shelf in the fridge door is held on by clear tape only so you can't put anything in it. With a few kitchen updates though, I think this is a great spot to stay and nearby Oakhurst has pretty much everything you need for groceries!

Hilltop Haven was stunning! Your very own cabin perched on its own hill overlooking Yosomite! Highly reccomend for a Yosomite trip with amazing hikes nearby and access to the park from the south entrance a stone throw away! The house itself is larger than it looks in pictures and can comfortably host 4 guests. The Hottub at sunset sprinkled in to top off and excellent experience

We really enjoyed this lovely, fun place. We especially enjoyed the art at every turn, the many choices of books to enjoy, the games (a few if which we played), the many rooms to enjoy, the multiple decks, the quiet and peaceful surroundings, how close it is to town, the amenities were plentiful, and the comfy bed and bedroom. Communication was easy with Dave (Jack’s son). Lots of stairs, lots of exercise. We appreciate their efforts to be earth friendly and the organic condiments.

It’s a great house in a good location for Yosemite. There’s a town close by too, which was nice. We really enjoyed it!

The Aerie is definitely a hidden gem, we had such a relaxing time. I didn’t even realize a spot like this was available and affordable in Oakland. It was definitely worth hiking up those 108 stairs. Im definitely coming back!

I stayed here with my 2 kids and husband. It was spacious and clean with everything you could possibly need. The mountain views were amazing!!! We also enjoyed the pickle ball court, making s’mores and grilling nightly. It was our home base for visiting Yosemite the 2 days we were there and the drive to Arch Rock entrance was easy and one of the closest Airbnb I could locate outside the park. Host was extremely communicative and proactive with information about the space. We would love to return to Yosemite and would without a doubt stay here again.

Wow, this place is serene! It’s quiet and peaceful and exactly what we needed to get away from the huddle and bustle of life. The cabin was charming. The shower was great. The temperature was perfect. The beds were very comfortable. The Brita water pitcher in the fridge was a great touch. The fridge kept everything very cold. The summer camp vibe is there and the scenery is beautiful. We loved daily walks by the river. It was perfect for my dogs. And at night the stars were amazing! About 90 minutes from Yosemite. About 15 minutes from all the stores/grocery you could need. We’d visit again for sure. Thank you for hosting us!

We were looking for a private, rustic, yet modern weekend retreat and we found it. The setting was great and the cabin had all the indoor and outdoor amenities we were expecting, plus an expansive deck with comfortable furniture - and a helpful bug zapper!

What a lovely, relaxing, private, beautiful place. The location is a 10/10. The house is surrounded by nature - towering trees with light filtering through, the sound of birds chirping and the river running, and the peacefulness made it the perfect weekend getaway. Our favorite part was definitely the private lake access. The area was perfect for our toddler who loved playing in the bank with her sand toys. The depth of the water was ideal, and we enjoyed walking in the river and taking the kayaks up and down. There were even little fish swimming everywhere and the occasional duck floating by. We loved lounging in the outdoor chairs and just enjoying the scenery. The hot tub and game room were an added bonus. The house itself was perfect for the three of us and had everything we needed to cook all our meals. Would definitely stay here again!

Had a great trip! This place provided the perfect oasis for a quick weekend getaway near Lake Isabella. All amenities included were working and Sharon is very responsive :)

Such a cute cabin. Was so nice to have laundry. I sort of gambled with booking this place since it is pet friendly, and I am allergic to dogs. But the place was very clean and I didn’t have any issues while there. Would definitely recommend staying here! The location was perfect for exploring Yosemite yet having access to restaurants and grocery stores. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay with our dog. The home is a peaceful and quiet escape from the busy pace of everyday life. Surrounded by wilderness, it offered a great chance to disconnect and unwind. We even spotted a few deer in the late evening and early morning, which was such a wonderful experience! Just a couple of minor things to note: the bathroom sink was a bit farther than my wife liking due to height, and the bath towels could have been a bit cleaner. Otherwise, everything was great, and we truly appreciated the serene atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway!

loved staying here, having a separate smaller cabin worked out great for us with the grandparents that wanted to retire a bit earlier. that did mean that the rest of us had to share one bathroom, but it was manageable. beautiful place, surroundings, and v responsive + helpful host. would come back again!

Absolutely beautiful little place only a hour from Yosemite. We managed to beat the Memorial Weekend crowds and actually get to see the park before everyone arrived. Loved the stars from the front porch and the wild turkeys saying good morning as we left. Make sure you carefully follow the instructions to get there. Keep driving until East Whitlock becomes West Whitlock. It is a little confusing in the dark as the numbers on East Whitlock are similar and then you think you've missed it. Keep going and you will find it.

Great cozy place in a beautiful location just a few minutes from downtown and from the lake. Hosts were extremely accommodating, and were very responsive. Would definitely return.

this was our first trip to shaver with our 3.5yr old and she absolutely loved it up there! the cabin was kid friendly and surrounded by great nature! the cabin had a great feel to it, like being home. it was a perfect spot for our 3 night getaway! Will 100% book again

We had such a great time staying at this cabin in Mi-Wuk Village! It was super cozy and clean, and the location was perfect—right in the middle of the trees, so it felt really peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were really nice and helpful, and everything was easy to find and use. The cabin had everything we needed comfy beds, a full kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, and a fireplace that made the place feel extra homey. We loved sitting out on the deck in the morning with our coffee, just listening to nature. It’s also really close to Pinecrest Lake and some great hiking spots, which was perfect for us. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a chill getaway in the mountains. We already want to come back!

Had an amazing stay, while visiting Cerro Gordo Ghost Town, Death Valley NP and Lone Pine! The views out your back door were some of the best I’ve seen in my life and the place had everything you could want! Had great mornings sipping coffee looking at the views while we ate breakfast before heading out and equally nice evenings on the porch starting at the mountains couldnt recommend more for a trip to Death Valley, Owen’s Valleys etc.!

Francis’s place is absolutely beautiful! Nestled among tall pine trees, it offers a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding. The patio was a standout feature—spacious enough for four people to hang out comfortably and enjoy the fresh air. Everything was super clean and well-maintained, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quiet and scenic getaway!

Wonderful experience all around - the house is cozy and well kept, and our host, Robin, was communicative and generous. We had a great time exploring the Tahoe area on our trip and will be looking to return in the future!

This cabin was the perfect birthday getaway. Beautiful inside and out. Clean space all around, fully stocked kitchen with working appliances. The outdoors area was a dream and really made it much more memorable. Sleeping spaces were comfortable and clean. Plenty of firewood for the fire pit. Can’t wait to visit again!! Don’t forget to add your note to their memory notebook. They were so fun to read!
