The Red House on Cross Lake

This is a Cross Lake cabin that we renovated from an old catfish restaurant built in the early 1930's. We call it the RED HOUSE. There are three cabins on the property that we also use for visiting family and friends. We live on the property behind the houses and we all use the property and pier. Guest also have use of the pier/boat house. The house is at the end of the road on the lake. Although family also uses the property the cabin is quiet and private with a great view of the open lake.

Jenny and her husband were great hosts! I loved the tiny house I stayed in and their property was amazing! They really went above and beyond when I lost my car keys one night, driving me around patiently to help find them. It was a beautiful, serene stay and I enjoyed it a lot. Absolutely recommend!!

Doesn’t get better than this. Just 20 minutes outside of Shreveport/Bossier and you are right on Lake Bistineau. The waters edge it right outside your window. Absolutely beautiful.

This was a great stay the location was perfect for the area I needed to be in, the place was clean and as described definitely would book again. Pictures do no justice it’s that great of a space.
