Cabin vacation rentals in Shohola

We were two families from NYC that spend three nights at this place. The house was more than spacious for the 8 of us and we thoroughly enjoyed the four person hot tub, the firepit and badminton set. The kitchen was really well equipped for cooking and the beds were super comfortable. John was just a text away for any questions.

This was the best BNB we have ever stayed at! Very clean, comfortable, private, and beautiful. You can tell thought was put into every detail. We didn't want to leave! The beds were very comfortable, we even ordered the same bedding with the BNB Cozy Earth discount code that was in the bedroom once we got home (Thank you, Meng!). The location was also great and not too far from anything with a lot of scenic natural beauty. We stopped at the North Branch Cider Mill nearby for coffee and some shopping and that's now my favorite stop in the Catskills! We hope to be back again soon. 10/10!

Such an awesome spot! BUT note this is a glampsite rather than a full house. The toilet is an outhouse (very clean, but make sure to duck to not hit your head), the shower is heated but it's outdoor, I didn't have soap or towels provided that I saw, and the bed is a tri-fold mattress that folds out onto the floor of the little A-frame. The wood fire hot tub was amazing, the fire pit is nice, there are two chairs included, parking is easy, there is good quality firewood here but bring something to light it with and start the burn. The sound of the running water is worth every penny. The cabin also is heated via some sort of gas, which does a great job and making the space feel cozy but I woke up with a pretty good sore throat. Not sure if that is a coincidence or if from the heater. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this place! Just make sure the less earthy people in your group are not expecting a hotel room/house.

~5 Star Cabin in the Woods~ Beautiful, secluded property with a pristine natural waterfall right in the backyard! The fire pit and hot tub are our favs. The entire place is SPOTLESS! The extra fresh towels and comfy bed linens are a lovely bonus. Plus, a fully stocked kitchen! Bill is an amazing host. He thought of everything that you could ever need! He was super responsive, informative, and accommodated all of our needs. Can’t wait to return!!!

This place is absolutely beautiful, exactly as described, and more. Very private and serene location. Would have loved to have time to stay for longer and would love to come back. We were here in the summer, I would imagine it being magical in the winter as well. Great place, can't recommend more highly.

W’s place is great for a large family or group of friends looking for a getaway in a peaceful, private, retreat-like environment. The house has cozy Catskill cabin vibes with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, updated bathrooms and a variety of different spaces to provide a large group with opportunities to spread out and find quiet nooks and crannies when needed. The beautiful wooded setting is perfect backdrop for all the amenities — wood fired hot tub and sauna plus cold plunge make the property feel like a private spa. It’s very easy to stay on the property for a full day without leaving, however there’s also an abundance of local adventures to be had — hiking, swimming, fishing etc. Great place for outdoor enthusiasts. W is responsive and helpful in his communications.

Was exactly the weekend getaway we needed. The tub was perfect for the cold nights, and we were just close enough to do a few hikes. The cabin was exceptionally clean and James was very attentive to anything that we needed. It is definitely in a neighborhood, and there are many families that live by but because of the greenery and the way that the house is laid out it feels very private. We would recommend this to friends and family! Thank you, James!

cozy , convenient to bushkill falls and the water gap. air conditioning is nice in a heatwave. porches and windows nice if it is cooler out. while it is small everything is tucked away and un clutteted. perfect get away!

We had a really lovely stay at this cabin in Boiceville. It rained every day during our trip, but honestly, we didn’t mind—it made the space feel extra cozy. We spent our time relaxing indoors, reading, cooking, and just enjoying the slower pace. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was tucked away enough to feel peaceful, but still a short drive to Esopus Creek and Phoenicia, which we enjoyed exploring when the rain let up. The host was helpful and easy to communicate with, and everything about the stay went smoothly. If you’re looking for a calm, quiet retreat in the Catskills—even on rainy days—this spot is a great pick.

Stayed Memorial Day weekend and loved the property. The pictures don't do the gentle sound of the stream and forest behind the property any justice. Andrew was very responsive and helpful whenever needed. Great area for relaxing!

When I decided in February to take three weeks away from my home city to spend time in the mountains, I wasn't sure I'd come a place that ticked all the boxes: would let me bring my dog, was on top of hiking by not terrifically far from essential businesses, was within a 4-5 hour drive from home, had the comforts I knew I needed and-- would also let me bring my cat? What did I find? This total gem of a cabin. My animals and I were able to make ourselves comfortable, the views of the lush trees were instantly calming, the bed was super comfortable, and somehow even though it felt like the middle of no where, was a 30 min drive from so many beautiful villages, trailheads, and other Catskills goodness. Mark was super on top of communications, helped me out when I needed it, and made sure I had what we needed. Highly recommend a stay here-- can't beat the charm and being truly surrounded by stunning nature.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy cabin! It was the perfect home base for exploring the local climbing areas. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed after long days outside. We appreciated the quiet surroundings and thoughtful touches. Communication with the host was prompt and helpful. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting the area for climbing or other outdoor adventures. We'd definitely stay here again!

This place was absolutely perfect! Exactly what we were looking for to refresh, relax, and unwind. Great place to charge the batteries and reset. Beautiful home and yard. Peaceful and great views to go with. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone staying in this area.

Our family gets a cabin in upstate NY every summer to escape the city life and this was by far everyone's favorite summer cabin so far. The property is beautiful and quiet. Patrick made the process very easy and the cabin is so warm and welcoming. Our dog LOVED swimming in the stream and playing in the yard with the kids.

My stay with Roxanne and Stan was phenomenal! 5 out 5 stars! The house was super clean and looked exactly like the photos. The hosts were super responsive and extremely clear and helpful in all their responses before, during, and after the trip. The house and scenery are beautiful. I would absolutely recommend staying here and with them!

The cabin was perfect , I was in close proximity of my friends we were visiting since our childhood. The cabin was clean , homey and very comfortable . Kevin responded to any questions I had very promptly and will certainly be coming back. 😊

We loved our stay here and cannot wait to visit again, a path (slightly over grown at first-- be aware of ticks, but thats a given while hiking-- but still very manageable and opens up shortly) led us to a beautiful waterfall area and the state park leading to stairs and 2 more waterfalls. Totally walkable, and a gem to have in the backyard. The little touches made it feel above and beyond, toiletries, slippers, fire starters, umbrellas etc... Milford which is an adorable town is nearby and tons of waterfalls and hiking around. The bed was extremely comfortable as was the daybed where we enjoyed our morning coffee and nightly card game.

The place is amazing and we really loved the hosts. Something to note that we didn't realize is that there are three rentals on the property and the waterfront cabin, shares the barbecue and the lawn with the main cabin And the fire pit is a walk down the road to get to Nothing that is an issue we enjoyed our stay tremendously, but we did not realize either of those things and thought it would be helpful to let others know

Streamside perfection for the holidays!!Vihn's Catskills Retreat could not have been more special, or more comfortable. A winter wonderland type of place to get away with our family for wine, cooking, games, puzzles, hikes, not to mention daily saunas overlooking Beaver Brook and the snow-covered forest. And we slept like rocks!! Highly recommend whether you want to hunker down or explore nearby towns like Narrowsburg and Callicoon. Can't wait to return for the summer version!!

Had an incredible stay at this Airbnb. It was supremely relaxing and a great way to disconnect and slow down. The house was beautiful, great amenities, scenic, and serene with views of trees all around. The best however was Greyson - before even been booking the house, we were sent a list of restaurants/activities/hiking trails in the area. Additionally, every message sent to the host received an immediate reply. The hosts have impeccable taste as you can see with the furnishings of the house. Highly recommend.

A very nice, private, place - where allows you to relax without seeing/interacting with people. Paul is also very helpful and responsive - you can get almost any help from him quickly. The cottage is great with well interior design. It has everything we need to stay in it for a week. Highly recommend to everyone who is looking for a escape from daily chores and cities. We will definitely come back and stay longer in this lovely space.

This is our second time coming to the Cozy Cottage on the lake. Our stay was even more memorable than the first time and we loved all the new upgrades that were done with the house, making it even more special and easy to relax and take in the stunning home. Emmett and his family were again incredibly helpful and thoughtful—quick responses, clear instructions, and little touches that made the stay feel special. They even remembered we were coming for my dad’s birthday and made it even more memorable for him ;) The place was spotless, comfortable, and in a great location. The family takes pride in their home and it shows. Highly recommend!
