My Guest House is attached to a single family home in the West End of Alexandria & offers 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath & kitchen. The bedrooms are spacious, one features a loft & balcony. The closest Metro stations are Van Dorn & Pentagon City (not walkable), you can easily access I-395 in less than 5 minutes. Many great ethnic restaurants in the immediate area. Only ~15 min to DCA, monuments/museums (7.8 miles to the Washington Monument), SW Waterfront, Old Town Alexandria, Capitol Hill (20 min).

If you’re looking for a nice, quiet place this is definitely a great location! I was visiting D.C during my stay, and this was the perfect place to get away from the noise of the city. There are a couple of restaurants with good food within walking distance, and the neighborhood is quiet at night. Public transportation is nearby as well, you’ll easily be able to travel around. I briefly met the homeowners and they were very cordial. The space was clean and inviting, and it was easy to get in and out of the house. Jasmine herself is a great communicator and understanding of any issues that may arise. She’ll work with you to make sure your stay is exceptional. It gets an easy recommendation from me.

I would highly recommend this place! The neighborhood is private, and Mary allows you to park in her driveway. The bedroom and bathroom were nice, and Mary left a filtered water pitcher for us. Overall, this place is a great value - close to downtown Alexandria (25 min uber), good proximity to the metro, and very safe. Would definitely come back!

Yodit's place was in a peaceful, safe and beautiful neighbourhood. I was about 20 min to midtown DC. The house, the Daisy room and the bathroom were really clean. Yodit was very responsive, and responded to my questions in less than 2 minutes.
